Has anyone got an easy recipe for a veggie curry? My lot are all carnivores but I would really like to try them with a veggie version. Plus chicken is getting expensive so it would save some cash if I could get them to eat it.
Many thanks
Have you looked at Gingham's Veggie Menu PlannersShe has loads of brilliant veggie ideas, using seasonal produce.
This is one of my favourites - chick pea curry. I buy different beans and lentils in 2kg bags from Tesco, which are dirt cheap. I cook a whole batch and freeze in meal-sized portions, then add them to the dish frozen.
I've just replenished my fruit bowl. I used a soft pear in smoothies for the children's breakfast, and had an orange that I had to cut out a small piece of mould

Well the two snowballs have disappeared from the kitchen so DH must have chucked them out. 89p for four, so 2 being thrown is 44p. I only really buy these for DH so think I will not bother for a while! Updated total.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Tip Top is very similar to evaporated milk but is lower in calories/fat (not sure by how much though!). It's made by Nestle.0

I almost had a cow yesterday, was at a friend's house whilst she put her shopping away, she just throws out the previous week's veg and replaces it with the new in the fridge! Guess who grabbed it before it disappeared into the bin and came home with two carrier bags full of stuff! I told her she's nuts and that there was nothing wrong with it all, but she wasn't having any of it! Mad mad woman! Wonder if she'll pass on all the stuff she's bought this week and prob won't eat!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
