You could chop them up and use them in a Spanish style omelette? Or make a lovely fresh tomato pasta sauce out of them? Roast them for soup? Yum!

I have a massive abundance of sage leaves in my garden. I love them but need to cut it back so it grows nicely again. Any ideas for fresh sage leaves?

Hiya All, just come across this thread, fab.

My latest use don't throwaway is.

Instead of buying 2 for a £1 little pots with plastic propagator lid on in the £1 shop. I now use empty pop bottle cut in half, and place on top of the plant pot. Fab little propagators. I have been saving them for a few weeks and my seedlings are coming along fine in them I am over the moon. Plan to grow my little gem lettuce in them, keep the butterflies and caterpillars off them too. I have just started making do and mend, so finding this board a boom.

I'm another one that's late to this thread - which is great btw! - but a regular contributor to the "I'm eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge" on the food & groceries forum which has a similar waste-not ethos.
