Saw this advertised on telly last night.

Me too.
This is going to be my first year with a veg patch, so looking for lots of tips.
janiebaby where have you bought your seeds from?
I'm still trying to decide what to grow as the part of the garden I will be using is a little shady, any gardeners out there got any suggestions what would do well??????

I'll watch this too :j Unfortunately I live in a student house and will be moving out in August. I don't want to start growing veg only to have to leave them behind! Maybe there'll be some tips for people without gardens or limited space?....and limited time!0

You could grow them in pots maybe? There was a thread on here recently with all kinds of great ideas for growing veg in containers.'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Perfect timing from the schedulers for once - I have loads of seeds, and no idea where to start (will also be container gardening - can't dig up the landlords' flowers).
Just got to try and get hubby to watch too - for some reason he doens't get on with Carol - always moans when she's on Gardeners World

This will be my first year growing veg, although I have a reasonable size space it is all paved over :rolleyes: so it will all be in tubs. fingers cossed!!! Good luck to everyone else who is starting out this year
