Yes I thought that but they have instant messenger on there and thats what she used. Unless it was him pretending to be someone else.

Sorry I forgot to do an update. After my first disaster or may I say my failure to launch on the whole internet dating scene. I have been in talking's to a wonderful intelligent man. I was on the site and was going to close my account down when I saw the word "beloved" I wrote to the person and asked him what this book was about and it started from there.

I had a really nice man on here send me a PM and told me to hang on in there relax and my time will come. He was right and I am so content at the moment. Thanks MSE if it wasn't for this forum a stranger now MSE friend wouldn't be able to tell me where I was going wrong.

I've been on dating sites for the past 3 yrs on and off. I have to agree , can be fun. One thing i dont understand about men , seems to happen a bit just lately. They join a site but they say they dont have time to meet. I know what your thinking , they are being polite in not saying get lost. I met one bloke about 5 wks ago and it went very very well. We got on like a house on fire and arranged to meet again the following thursday. The thursday came and went. He had my number and kept getting the text messages then they stopped. Thought right. either met someone else or he's already got someone and lied about being single. Left it for a while ( about a mth) then just messaged to say hello as he was online. Got chatting again and the same old bull came out. How well we got on blar blar blar. All i get out of him is hes working a lot of hours and wished he had the time to meet.

I dont understand the reason for joining a site when you have no intention of meeting anyone.
