Interesting thread. It does seem that the complaints seen here are about the cheaper model that ISE produced to compete with the mass market brands.

Looking at their website this is no longer available - they only produce the higher 'commercial body' spec models with a 10 year warranty. I can only speculate that the lower spec machines were considered a mistake. Has anyone had any faults/problems with the higher end machines?

Again, the ethos is attractive, especially when I keep hearing reports that Miele quality is not what it used to be.

I've had my ISE10 for between 2 and 3 years and everything is fine. Very pleased with it.

Another person feeling completely taken in by ISE after buying an AW23 3 years ago. The bolt attaching weight to the drum has sheared in a similar problem to the previous poster. Repair is possible but will cost a whopping £336. Although I am a committed repairer I cannot justify this spend on a machine that is generally unreliable. The failure of one bolt will cause me to replace the whole machine - something that I chose ISE to try to avoid. The more expensive model might be great but that is no help to those that bought the AW23. If the machines were not durable why were they even introduced? I will be going with a well known brand next time.

    hi all

Our 8 year old ISE10 washing machine has just stopped working - and i have found out that ISE have stopped trading as of December 2014....

does anyone know of any tradespeople who can fix these machines and if they may be able to get the spare parts?

Sorry to hear about this I thought they were good machines... It's a shame they have left so many people in the lurch now though without any warranties etc. Not good at all glad I didn't go for one. I thought the machines were very expensive for what they were.

Your machine should be under a ten year warranty so your warranty should be held with a 3rd party insurer?

How can I get a warranty repair on my ISE?

Sadly, this is not currently possible as ISE was forced into a position where all staff had to be made redundant.

This means that there is nobody available to process service calls, spare parts orders, pay repairers and so on. In short, there is no infrastructure to enable service.

What about the insured machines, surely I can get service?

Again, with no staff to do any of the legwork this is not possible and, nobody has shown any interest in carrying that work out as there is no profit in it.

Also, without the support for spares and distribution of spares service is untenable.

    hi

i read the above on the ISE site BUT i was wondering if there were any service engineers who could still service them who perhaps has old stock of parts??

do you think this is possible?

I know the warranty has gone but would pay to get it mended and get a few more years out of it...

Any decent whitegoods repairer should be able to fix. Ask local businesses.

I see you've asked on another board, hopefully you'll get a positive response.
