Quick Wash completed okay with no leaks.
Now doing a coloured wash with real washing
EDIT: Will give a full review in the next couple of days ... initial thoughts are- Easy to use
- 1600 spin dries clothes out a lot!
- Door is easy to open / metal panel on the front does make it a lot quieter but maybe I'm weird - I like watching stuff go around! No big deal to open it.
- Drawer thingy for powder/conditioner is very well labelled and can't be opened accidentally but isn't difficult to open
- Control panel is bright and easy to understand ... the 'pie chart' LED for how much of the wash percentage is complete is very funky though not sure how useful this will be
- Wash times are very quick and my wife said that stuff was coming out very clean though I must say we are using biological powder at the moment instead of our normal stuff (normal stuff is at the mother-in-laws)
- Drain sump at the bottom is just enough to keep little fingers out and looks well thought out though haven't used it yet
- Casing etc looks nice ... thing that strikes you is that the only plastic bit is the control panel the rest looks to be made of metal.
- Door closes with a nice solid clunk
- Everything feels 'nice'
- It's blumen heavy!
- It's not that loud

Well, I bit the bullet & took possession of my ISE10 last week! So far it has been wonderful & I'm loving it! :j I was worried, as it is a lot of money to spend in one go, but after having used it several times I think it is the best machine I ever used (& I've used plenty...).
Just waiting to receive details of my guarantee through the post...& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

Hi Technoboy,
Glad all is going well and you like the machine, it is good.
To save me emailing the information as it landed in my inbox this evening and, in case anyone else wants it as well, here's how to set the default rinses...
Machine powered off using the main on/off button.
Press and hold both the start and door open button.
Switch main on/off to "on" while still holding the above buttons
After a few seconds the main program indicator (red ring) will flash.
Release start and door lock button.
Now three segments of the program indicator lights (around the start/stop/door) button will be lit.
Press the door lock button to make either three lights lit (three rinse option) or five lights lit (five rinse option). Once selected this becomes the new default value.
Press start/stop to exit.
Done.
This can be changed at any point as you see fit to suit your needs.
Just don't play with other buttons please while in programming mode or you could make errant things happen.
The hose thing is a bone of contention on some installs and, here's the story...
The "PEX" hose that is supplied is the only hose that will meet the warranty requirements and is actually tested for 50 years (yes, 50 years) of use. But it can be an absolute pain to use in some homes as it's semi-rigid so you have no choice but to resort to a normal hose for either the length or to get the turns depending on how the pipes run.
If you can fit it though, the chances of it ever failing are pretty much zero.

Cheers, the 5 washes was easy to set.
Are there any more 'hidden' functions avaiable?
I can see the hose is good quality - I haven't seen one before that had a copper fitting! We'll keep it by in case our plumbing gets redone or we move house.
I'd suggest that a 'addendum' is added to documentation in some manner, even if in leaflet form, so this 5-rinse is available to everyone (with the disclaimer that it'd use more energy!) as the washer is advertised generally on most sites as being able to do the 5 rinses and might result in less queries? Perhaps put the PDF manual on the ISE Website with this config option as a separate page?
Also may be worth including the information on the Website or somehow with the washer/delivery bloke that that the 10 Year Warranty would follow in the post within 5 to 10 days? The Warranty is a major consideration when purchasing this washer, and it'd boost the initial feed-good factor as I was a bit disappointed to find the information missing in the manual pack - normally when you buy something (even a £4.99 Cheese grater) it comes with that kind of information.
Can't think of anything negative about the washer so far - it's done two washes this morning - including our toddlers favourite Teds - I think we are up to date!
I was also pleased when the machine emptied it's water that it did so at a relaxed rate - which for us is good as we have three appliances sharing a common drain :T0 -
Thanks TechnoBoy and JustKeepSwimming for letting us know how you're getting on with your machines. The ISE10 was already top of my list for when I need to renew my old Hotpoint and you've both confirmed that it deserves it's place there. OH tends to trust my research when buying something but I'm expecting an "ouch" with the £££ but it certainly seems there is a very good case for the initial outlay.0

First thanks to Andy T for Washerhelp, kept my old Hoover going until it's re birth as a brazier.
And kwatt and the rest for the ISE option.
I have a dead Whirlpool, £250+ quote for repair, can't have done more than 2 years light work.
But I need a little bit of help with selecting an ISE replacement. But finding details of models other than the ISE10 is proving to be a little difficult, especially when I mentioned the AW23 to my local distributer and they didn't know what I was on about.
There are few pictures on the ISE website to allow a decent comparison of what I would be expecting if I ordered an ISE2, 5, CI555 or an AW23??????
I've been quoted for 10, 5 and 2 but have no idea what to expect as the download manuals from the website have very poor images of the various models.
There is even a link to the CI555 which from previous posts would appear to be no longer available. Is the AW23 the NEW ISE5, 2 or what?
would be grateful for any help as this seems to be the current thread for ISE questions on the web.0 -

You are clearly having a better experience with ISE than I am having at the moment.
I'm still trying to get hold of one. More info idc with possible pictures of a Hoover where my ISE should have been.0 -
Have posted my mini-review on my blog.
Excellent and very useful review TechnoBoy. Many thanks.
Just one question - the drop down door, you say you can put your wet or dry washing on it. Is there an official weight limit for this as a pair of wet double size cotton sheets I'm thinking could weigh quite heavy, would it be a strain on the hinges?0 -
The load limit isn't specified in the manual - it seems very study - and I've tested it to 20kg using the bathroom scales.
Didn't distort or feel that it was near any any limit.0
