    Hi everyone,
Great to see a lot of new people joining, it is great fun on this thread and such a great support, you will love it here:D

The whole family went for the sunday walk today, none of them need to loose weight just me so it is nice of them to come along, we left at 1pm and returned 3 hours later!!!!:rotfl:

We are newish to the area, went to the park, walked all around it, came out (the wrong end) then could not find how to get back home:rotfl: :rotfl:

We walked continuosly for 3 hours that is enough excercise for me today, need a lie down now!!:D

Bless, my son (6) said 'mum you have walked so far today you will have lost 1 stone when you get weighed tomorrow!! (Oh I wish!!):rotfl:

  • Well I had a good day today after my pig-out (that's exactly what it was Consultant!) and have stayed on track. Just been to the gym and feel great. Had a light supper and hope that will be it for today, unless I have a piece of fruit if I feel peckish later on in the evening.

I don't feel hopeful for my WI tomorrow but with the help of the comments on here I have managed to nip it in the bud (for now at least!) so back on track and hopefully if I keep on track this week I will lose next week - damage limitation really. Will try not to get disheartened with the scales tomorrow and make sure I come on here tomorrow evening!

    loops :j

Hi loops - yes that's fine. I've added you to the chart and included your fantastic 9lb weight loss from during the week. Don't worry about weighing on a different day, just add your result after your weigh in and I'll add it to the chart on the following Monday. :)

hello all :hello: thanks very much to everyone for the warm welcome! its nice to know im not alone in my quest to be slim trim and gorgeous:D well today i have had a good day i woke up too late for brekfast so i waited an hour or two and oh and me had brunch, i cooked some chicken and some sliced mushrooms on my george foreman grill and then warmed up a wholemeal pitta bread and stuffed it full, it was delish and not an ounce of fat in sight as opposed to pre diet when the mushrooms would of been dripping in calories:o then for tea we had beef done in the slow cooker and roasties just brushed in oil rather than sitting in it as before, i had half a plate of veg a couple of roasties and beef plus a little gravy and i think i did fab!:j then later on i had an apple when the others had cheesecake and i managed to resist temptation. i dont know how much i weigh or how much i have lost recently because to be honest my scales dont go up that heavy, it will be a fab day when i can finally jump on the scales and they dont groan in pain and have a readout of "error" :o  im hoping i can keep this going because although i still see rolls of flab :o i can see from looking in the mirror that my face is starting to slim out a little and i am finding i have a little more energy as every day goes by :j sometime soon i plan to start going out for a small walk each day...i dont think my legs could manage it just yet though but i have tried to up my exercise in the house. this is the first month of the rest of my life.......

  • Well done Angchris - you sound like you have a really positive attitude. Maybe you need to send some of that my way after my pig out on Saturday, although much better day yesterday so hopefully back on track.

Good luck with WI everyone - I'm dreading mine but it has to be done!

Morning all, did my WI this morning and unfortunately I have gained 1lb but I did not stick to my healthy eating and I had too many glasses of wine. Never mind today is a new week. Only had 5 glasses of wine over the weekend so that leaves two for the rest of the week. Should hopefully be enough. My chocolate hamper is now empty and I will not open any more sweets so full of good intentions this week. Also planning to go to the gym later on today.
I think we are all allowed a bit of a blow out or life gets too tough so I will get this gain me my warning and get back on the straight and narrow. Going out for lunch later on in a pub that only does chips with everything. Mayby I shall have a ham sandwich that must be the best option.
Take care and good luck with the WI.

Not entirely sure how but hopefully I'll be able to keep it up. Although after having words with OH last night, I'm already on the biscuits.
