Lose Weight 9

Hi all,
I had such a good week this week - I have tried to get myself out of snacking at work (always want a packet of crisp by 11am!). I went to weightwatchers last night and I have lost 2lb this week - my aim is to loose 1.5lbs for next Tuesday as that means I will get my silver seven - fingers crossed (got a night out on Saturday so it may be hard).
Our lovely leader, Sam, brought in a home-made recipe. Thought I would post it - its Carrot & Coriandor Soup (honestly I pulled my face when she told me but its gorgeous) and it has 0 points!! I am going to make a big pan of it tonight, live off it this week and hopefully by Tuesday I will be Kate Moss, here goes: -
Ingredients: 1 Onion finely chopped; low fat spray; 2tsp coriandor, 1tsp ground cumin, 750g carrots, 900ml veg stock, juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1x20g pack of coriandor
Steps: (1) Fry onion in low fat spray and 2tbs water for 5 mins in pan. (2) Add spices and cook for 30secs. Stir in carrots followed by the stock. (3) Bring to boil and then simmer for 25 mins. (4) Add lemon juice and season to taste. (5) whizz this mixture in a blender and and add coriandor to the finished product (I dont have a blender so going to use my smoothie maker).
Good luck! xLoan (orig. £6014.20), now [STRIKE] £5,813.74 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£5,063.58[/STRIKE], £5,438.66 debt free Oct 2009

I'm wondering if anyone has a discount code for weightwatchers online. I'm planning on doing the 3 month offer but it seems like an awful lot to be paying?0

When and if I can find the WW book I got last year, I'll put it on here. Unless someone beats me to it.
MissMPRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Hi
Just had the Coriander and Chilli Baked Beans recipe that appears in this months SW magazine, for lunch. DD sugggested we try it and at first I was a little reluctant but it really works and was perfect for a cold day like today. Couldn't face having mashed potatoes with it at this time of day but stuck to wholemeal toast.
It's nice to find low cal meals that other members of the family like, they just don't realise that they're low cal
It's also nice to see lots of new people finding LW9 and whether it's WW, SW or calorie counting, attending a club or going it alone, we all have the same aim :jI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Hi Lou - Dont mean to offend but just curious - do you have a link/connection with this website - its just you have quoted it at least 3 times in the past 24 hours. As I said, no offence meant, I'm just nosey! Not following WW myself but had a quick look - its seems to have all the WW info there so the WW-ers followers on here may find it useful!

Thanks julijim for your details reWW points.
That is the first time I have seen these despite having gone to weightwatchers various times over the years. I could never lose weight by counting points and always calorie counted, only going to meetings get weighed. They said to use 20 points but by this calculation I should only have had 17 to start off withNo wonder now. Still at least I got to my target.
