    Hi all,
Will not be able to weigh in today as my son is off school ill so can't leave him to go...shame I was really looking forward to it!!
Will do it tomorrow, I hope everyone else has loads of weight lost and are very happy with it, keep up the good work!! xx
Debsx well done on the weight loss, never think of it as 84 lb to go, justthink that you have lost the weight and have 2 lb to go and when you get rid of that you have another 2 lb to go, put it into bit size pieces and it does not seem so impossible xxx

    Hello,

I didn't take enough exercise last week and I drank far more than normal....Gained 3lbs. Oh dear.

Looked at commitments for this week last night and 'timetabled' in some exercise. Fingers crossed and well done to everyone who lost/maintained.
  • Well, not the best start but i'm off the mark with 1lb this week. Thought i was doing much better but I DID go for that indian on Friday night, I had a tomato based curry but i guess it was the naan bread that did it ;-)

Onwards and upwards, 20 llbs to go. I have my Nell McAndrew DVD at the ready andhopefulyl can accelerate the weight loss with some exercise (not counting the sprint to the train in the morning cos i'm always late!)

    Morning!!

Usual nice weekend with my children, My son is now into Rocky and made me record all five films yesterday! I got to the gym last night on the way home from dropping them off. Even cooked a pretty good dinner from us all. Chicken breast, peas, sweetcorn, carrots and mash :) even had some left over for after the gym!! By the way anyone know much about roof tiles? I lost a couple in the storm, not sure wether to claim on the insurance or not? I have a £100 excess.

Hi Debs, from someone who has lost alot of weight, 90 odd lb so far (and still has a looooong way to go! :) ), can I make a couple of suggestions.....

Break down your target in little targets that can be archived in short periods of time. I break mine down in stones, which should be attainable within 8-12 weeks at a sensible rate of loss. I wrote a reply a little while ago when I put a spin on the targets and broke it down in kilo barriers, pound barriers and stone barriers. It does take time, 11 months for me, looking for lose 3 more stone.

March 3rd is just under 6 weeks away, at a guess, why not set a target weight loss, tell Lois who will add it to the 2lb weight loss chart and then lean on the ladies in this forum for support as you aim for the target??

    Good Luck!

Follow the advise of the the better placed in this forum :) The experience and support of some people in here never fails to amaze me.

Well done Loopy-loo on your loss, hope your little one is feeling better soon Victory. Lois just checking you have a note of my loss? I posted it Saturday as in the office today, ok to save you looking I lost 2lb :j even my children are impressed

Got to go, have a meeting at 10.

    Hi All

Well done on your weight losses everyone. My WI isn't until Wednesday but not doing too bad although I did have a 4 finger KitKat at work last night as I really fancied some chocolate and I thought that was the best option out of the vending machine. I didn't find out it was 12 syns until I got home! My willpower isn't very good at 2 in the morning!

It's a maintain for me:o Well done to Suggs, ftbworried, TallGirl, loopy and Debs on your loses. Good luck to everyone else with your WIs.

Just couldn't get into the portion control this week. I was still walking the 9 miles a day last week, so just goes to show that making healthy choices is more important than exercise.:D I'm back on it today though and prepared yesterday for this week by making a homemade curry sauce, homemade houmas, Georging some chicken, peeling the brussel sprouts ready for today and buying in my favourite salad - watercress, rocket and spinach and vegtables to make some soup.

I have also bought a skipping rope from Asda for £1 and made of list of exercises I want to do every day, so just hope I implement it.:D

RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

    Hi guys
Another 2lb off for me this week. I am delighted and this week I will be dusting off the lateral thigh trainer that is currently in my cupboard with a hoover on top of it!
Hopefully that will keep me on course. xx

  • Good morning all and well done to Debs on a fantastic 5lbs off. I agree with the others though Debs, don't worry about how much you want to lose overall. Just think about what you want to have lost by, say, Valentines Day, then Easter and so forth. It's much more palatable when you don't have to wait so long to see a target achieved. You've made a great start :)

Loopy, Tallgirl, FTB, & Amfiroda you've all done well this week, congratulations and keep up the good work!

Good grief MissMP, I'm very impressed with your exercise regime - having walked 9 miles and still have energy to spare to skip  phew, I need a lie down just thinking about it :)

Juliejim, you can always work the syns in, think about them over a week if it helps (70 - 105) instead of 10 - 15 a day.

Suggs, don't know much about roof tiles, but my daughter lost one in the storm too. Experience tells me it's cheaper in the long run to pay up cos if you claim on the insurance you have to pay the excess then they put the premiums up next year - insurance companies are legalised highway robbers!!

Good luck with your weigh-in ThriftyK, KatiePC and all you other hopefuls :D

I have to go to hospital this afternoon for a biopsy. It's only for an unexplained rash I've had on the backs of my legs for 6 months now, but I'm feeling a little nervous, and also a bit concerned I may not be able to sit down to join you all this evening (it's at the very top of my legs!).

I weigh in tomorrow, so if I can't get back on here today, I'll certainly be here before lunch tomorrow
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    One pound on. :o
Can't say I'm surprised was a tad naughty last week. On the positive side stuck to my 5 pint allowance at the weekend. (Thought I better do some thing right).

Won't be around for next weeks weigh in as I'm off on my hols. I have decided that when I get back I'm going to get serious. Proper meal plans, the lot.

I doubt I'll be an angel on holiday but I'll definately eat conciously. I will be skiing for about 4 hours a day so no worries on the exercise front :). I'm going to have a great time but I'll also think about how this time next year I'll be at my ideal weight and having even more fun.

Well done to the losers :)
