  • I'm going to make more effort to post here!

I invested in a proper set of weighing scales (rather then weighing myself on that machine in the gym for 20p) and I lost 5lbs last week (target was 3lbs). My target this week is 2lbs and I will weigh myself every Sunday!

I've been exercising lots - Body pump twice a week and they gym for a cardio workout twice a week - and have doubled my intake of fruit every day. Have had no booze since 5th January adn I feel great!

    Hi :hello:

I agree that to succeed we need to be positive and make life changes, we can't go through all the hard effort to lose weight only to immediately revert to our old ways and pile it all back on again which is my experience(s). So I'm determined like some of you not think of it as a diet but a healthier way of living.

I haven't had any alcohol since starting this diet () sorry new healthy lifestyle and feel healthier and wealthier, but it is only my second week with a long way still to go

I finally plucked up the courage to measure myself and   What I'd give for an elastic tapemeasure :D but I've duly entered them truthfully into my diary, so now I just have to make sure that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

As mentioned yesterdayI cooked the Pork and Red Pepper Goulash shown in this months SW mag. As I cooked it in the slow cooker I had to take a couple of ladles of liquid out and reduce it in a saucepan and then return it to the dish, no doubt if it had been done as stated this wouldn't have been necessary but it tasted gorgeous and I can thoroughly recommend, do give it a go if you can.

Good luck to all for the weekend it's nice to know that help is just a laptop away.

    xxx

It is american though so some of the foods are called different things. If anyone knows of anything similar in a UK version, let me know.
