Did you miss me last night? I can't get on the internet at home  (long story - I may bore you about it one day).
Anyway, I'm busy polishing my halo as I type, having got up very early to come and do the 2 pound weight loss club at work :A
We're now up to 62 members, which is fantastic! I've collected as much information as I can, but please let me know if I've missed anyone out, and I'll update it later.
The Slimmer of the Week award goes to Suggs - well done! :T
Catch you later.

Morning all, and a big welcome to the new posters.
GirlyG Mix2Max is a bit more complicated than the normal original (red) and green plans. I've been with SW, as a member and later as a consultant for about 4 years now and have never felt I needed anything other than the main two plans.
However, if you do want to try it here are the rules:-
Each meal decide if you fancy Green or Original
Stick to that choice for that meal – you can go back for 2nds if you’re still hungry during the same mealtime
Choose again when it's time for your next meal
Snack on Superfree Foods all day - foods that are Free on both choices
You can still choose 4 Healthy Extras
Still take your daily Syns allowance - if Original & Green Syn values are different, count the highest
If you have a starter or a dessert, make it from Superfree Food or count the Syns.
Delly you do know that Oatibix isn't a HEB don't you? Well, actually it can be taken as a HEB but you have to add 3 syns too (sorry).
Did you have a 99% fat free Muller rice or an ordinary one? The 99% ones come in a bit smaller pot (about 150gm I think) and are around 6 syns. The others come in 200gm pots and vary between 10 and 12½ syns - was it worth it?
Ikkleosu while exercise is good for us all, it's not necessary for weight loss. If you follow the SW plan you get loads to eat - jacket potato and beans, pasta, rice etc - my favourites, I always mention these at the detriment of meat and fish, but if you're a carnivor there's also a plan for you, and you can lose weight well. I have a disabled member who loses well without any exercise at all as she's on crutches.
Sorry, I'm finding myself pushing SW at the mo, which I try not to do.
There are lots of ways of losing weight and keeping it off (often the hardest part), but I have a huge appetite and SW is the only plan which I find I can still live with after the weight has come off. I did WW years ago and lost 3½ stone, but once I'd reached target, I couldn't maintain the restricted eating plan and put all the weight back on in about 6 months. It works for millions of people, I know, but not for me, I like my food too much, lol.
It's my group tonight, so I won't be back today. Have a great day all :wave:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I'm trying to do the slimming world food plan, but I can't afford to go to classes. Does anyone know a money saving way to access their members website without going to class? it would really help me out

Hi and welome Donna. Of course you can join in. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. You should take it slowly at the minute. Your body is still adjusting to having been pregnant and you will still lose some of the baby weight. You also need to make sure you are eating enough of the right things at the minute, for your strength and especially if you are breast feeding. Maybe you should wait a little bit before starting a diet as such. Try and just eat healthily -plenty of fruit and vetg etc until your body settles. Maybe your midwife/health visitor could help you with eating plans for new mums
Welcome to the thread -its a busy one at the minute.
Well done Suggs - SOTW again :T:T:T and well done to all the other losers and slimmers this week.
Lois - on behalf of all of us, can I just say a very big thank you for taking the time to do the chart each week, especially with all the new additions and particularly for going into work early just for us
Speech over :rotfl:0 -
Hi thanks for the reply
If i dont do sw i will just pig out eating the wrong foods all day.. like no meals just crisps and chocolate . oh and toast with paste on..
Sw is a well balanced diet so is better for me than not to do it if you get me lol..0 -
Sorry Lois I forgot to post with my weight loss last night. I managed to lose 4lb so I've only got 1lb and I'm back to my prechristmas weight.
I have just bought the slimming world 30 minute meals cook book so am looking forward to trying lots of new reciepes. On wednesday I have to go for a colonoscopy so I'm not allowed to eat anything accept clear jelly and icecream but drink lots of fluid including alcohol so I'm going to get so smashed I don't know that I'm starving! my appointments not till 2.30pm and i could be waiting for 4 hours how am I supposed to cope that long without food. I have to drink this discusting stuff that clears everything out so It will be interesting to see my weight loss next monday. Although I am out for a chinese on Saturday!
Well done suggs for getting slimmer of the week.HOW MUCH ?0
