Well done Cheekyweegit and IFA. Seems so many people have done very well this month.
I'll join you too. I'll force myself to get on the exercise bike for 10 minutes every day and I'll take my new skipping rope off the hook and finally use it. Is that 5lb by 5th March (4 weeks)?

Yes, If this is ok with everyone shall we make 5th March our next mini target?? Its 4 weeks away  Can you believe its Feb already

DS still not well so keeping him off school again today. Got to ring work soon and tell them I won't be in. Don't think I will be too popular as I wasnt there yday (dont work Mondays) and am on leave on Thursday. Really need to get some shoping in - missed going yday because of young Master Honey. Running very low on fruit, veg and SW-friendly food so need to try and get out today. Might be going out for dinner with DH tomorrow - we are going to a concert and he wants to go for a meal before. I'd quite like to but we are also out for a christening and 30th birthday meal/booze up at the weekend and I dont think I can lose weight with so many meals out. Any advice/tips ??
  • But there is more good news – I’m not longer morbidly obese, not even obese, just overweight now according to my BMI...
I’ve started wearing jeans again rather than tatty joggers, this in itself has boosted my self esteem no end and my kids say I look happier, thinner and am apparently fairing well considering I will be 39 on Saturday.

Well done :T :T :T ! And what a perfect excuse to buy yourself a gorgeous new outfit in celebration! _party_
BARGAIN ALERT FOR BODY FAT SCALES
Thanks for that - couldn't have come at a better time acth - yesterday I weighed myself on the gym scales, with clothes and trainers on (normally I'm a first thing after the loo wearing nothing kinda girl), and I came out as 8 lbs, yes 8 lbs lighter than on my scales!!! Would be fantastic, except that I went on a diet because of my shape not my weight, and I'm still curvy in a few too many places! :rotfl:

Mind you, maybe I can now be a bit cheeky and pretend I met the 7lbs by 5th Feb challenge, as I am at least 11 lbs lighter than I thought I was at the start!!!
If you don't have anything nice (or constructive) to say... DON'T SAY IT!

    Hi all,
I have been to the first page to see the chart and my name is not there, is there another one I should be looking at?:D

The 7 lb loss by feb did I achieve it? Now the 5 lb one until March, why has it gone down and March when?

So many questions so little time:rotfl: :rotfl:

  • oh no I have put on another lb. I must get a grip. I am now armed with a s.a.s and I am going to fill it it. I am also going to go and read my s/w book again.

I went to see the nurse on friday and she asked me how many units I drink. so I told her I didn't really drink. (I go for weeks without a drink) I then went out to the Sway bar for a party and had 2 bacardi's, 1 carona, 1 vodka & cranberry, 1 mai tai, and 4 cosmapolitans ( they were my favourites). followed by 2 fried chicken and chips on the way home at 1am. do you think that contributed to my weight gain??? I was very ill in the night i might add and was swearing never to drink again. although I have another party on Saturday.

My pledge for February is to increase the amount of physical exercise that I do and to try and lose at least 5lbs

  • Hi everyone!
i lost 1kg (2.2 lb) last week so was quite happy but i did spend the entire weekend walking in Wales (which was superb - we could see Ireland, the Lakes and the Peaks from the same place cos it was so clear!).
i reckon most of the loss is dehydration tho, so expecting a gain this week. especially after starting the week with a large Thai meal last night!

    Morning,

Ok so I got out my back issues of SW magazine and a pen and paper and worked out healthy extras etc. Pretty straight forward but I've a couple of questions if you don't mind.

Eggs - Are they free on either day?
Mullerlight - is this a free food or a healthy extra?
Very low fat cottage cheese - again free food or HE?

Wholemeal bread - a HE but never a free food
Rice and pasta - Free on green but never a HE.

If someone could clear that up for me I'll be all set :)
