Does anyone know a way of splitting London to St Germans in Cornwall. Leaving Sat 19th Sept, Returning Sept 20th. Need to leave AM, return anytime on Sunday. It's consistently coming up at £55 return. Cheers0

Use the First Great Western website and get an Advance Single for £24.50 each way.0 -

The Advance Single for £24.50 from London to St Germans that KeithP states is most probably the cheapest you'll get, however, for the return try;
St Germans to London Waterloo and in the Via search box enter 'Honiton'
there's 2 £14 Advance singles available, at 11.29 (arrives 18.58) or16.48 (arrives 22.58) takes a bit longer and an extra change of train but saves you a £10Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

This means that you will have to endure a one and a half hour bus ride for this part of the journey.
Maybe that's why it is cheap. :beer:0 -

You also forgot to say single or return - it really does help to ask a sensible question if you want proper answers.;):mad: (not sure which one to use....:D)
Anyhow I doubt you will get it cheaper - but it would be worth checking the price of a Groupsave 4 ticket. That will be £24 off peak day return from West Ham, plus whatever it costs to get there and back.0 -
Hi
I've been used to grabbing advance fares as soon as they are released, so have been waiting for November tickets to come available, only to find that there seem to be no cheap, advance purchase, specified train only tickets listed ? Have tried First Great Western, The Trainline, QJump etc. I've also tried just inputting London - Padstow or London to Bodmin (there is a rail bus from Bodmin Parkway)
Someone suggested trying splitting, so I was looking for tips ?
2 adults going out on Nov 6th. Return probably Nov 11th / 12th and the best I've found is just over £80 each super supersaver return.
Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks0
