Thanks for that, it is £51 per person return (direct no changes) - as long as can get the £25.50 singles. Seems good value except they are 18 yr olds travelling with limited funds!!

A YP railcard would help if they are likely to do further travel

I am going from Exeter to Leicester on 2nd Oct 09 ( midday) and returning on 4th Oct 09 Midday) and the cheapest I can find it is £87.50, does anyone know how I can reduce this please?

Hi,

Thanks for the info.

I eventually got singles from Glasgow to Milton Keynes and back and will then get the Stagecoach X5 from Milton Keynes to Cambridge and back. The times suit me better and the cost is pretty much the same as you quoted here.

West Ham to Southend is £12 cheap day return - £13.30 peak.

Single is £8.30 anytime

Just buy on the day - you don't save by buying in advance.

Tube fare North Greenwich to West Ham is £3.20 each way - or £1.10 if you have Oyster
