Yes, directly underneath the flight path. But then those who live in such situations will vouch that they get used to it and are no longer bothered by the aircraft noise. Fortunately, the traffic at the Luton airport is much less than other London airports.

Don't think that's a pool. It's glass floor above bedroom one. Top floor of the building.

Huh? There hasn't been a pool in that house since it was converted from a water tower.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I don't like the kitchen/dining room on the ground floor, but the rest of it looks ok to me, much better than this conversion, anyway:

Just had a look at sold prices on Rightmove for this.

    Sold for £500 000 in 2006 and £175 000  in 2011.

My guess would be that developers bought the tower and (more importantly) the land and access around the tower, then sold the tower on as they weren't interested in it.
Looking on Google earth, it would appear that the only access to the flats behind the tower is through the gates and straight past it. Looks like you have no land at all, and are effectively a roundabout in the middle of a car park. Don't like it nearly as much now.
