Looking on Google earth, it would appear that the only access to the flats behind the tower is through the gates and straight past it. Looks like you have no land at all, and are effectively a roundabout in the middle of a car park. Don't like it nearly as much now.

Don't think that's a pool. It's glass floor above bedroom one. Top floor of the building.
Whoops, silly me - I only glanced through the pics & didn't bother with reading the blurb.......that's what happens when you multi-task when you're s'posed to be preparing bagels for brunch, LOL :rotfl:Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

OMG! Why have such an expensive property, but have your kitchen chairs and table look like it has been nicked from a church hall? Don't get the tangled lights above it either.0 -

Photo 10 - maybe the most depressing bedroom I've ever seen.

I don't like it, not just because of its location though.
The building is Grade 11 listed. New alterations and extensions can look brilliant with old buildings, however I think the modern additions to this one are totally alien.
Maybe I'm in the minority though.0 -

Fancy putting their child in the boxroom - when there is a perfectly decent empty bedroom 2 to put them in!
The garden photos are a bit confusing - and I was left wondering whether one of them was actually neighbours garden (rather than theirs).
Then, right at the end, there's that pile of bricks there on the patio and...whoops...is that a part-built extension to the right of it?0 -

What's wrong with giving your child the box room? Our DD1 had the box room as a bedroom for 5 years and DD2 for 15years. They seem to have done OK on this terrible treatment.
Perhaps they remember their Dad didn't even have a bed, let alone a bedroom when he was about 8 years old. Stuff happens.
Not having a big room or many possessions is a minor handicap compared with other problems that afflict young people during their formative years.0 -
