Also states" Originally marketed in November 2009 and since being subject to considerable refitting and extension works but with the price remaining the same - FOR QUICK SALE"
Wonder how ,ugh they bought if for before doing it up? May in 2009 when not as pretty and could not sell they thought, lets re mortgage and do it up......4 years later finally done lol.
They also say will consider part exchange for smaller property. Seem pretty eager to move.
I'm struggling slightly to understand your point....
but I tend to understand why someone would have a house up for a certain price and then think "Why hasn't anyone bought it yet?" and decide that maybe they need to do a bit of work (changing the colour from a "personal taste" one to "neutral" in a couple of areas in my case) and then put it back up again at the same price. That thought has crossed my mind and I think that if this house "sticks" a bit then I might whip it off the market for a couple of weeks and re-do those bits in neutral colours and put it back up again at the same price with the "for quick sale" meaning "I've done these neutral colours all round now that all the current advice says is necessary - so the house should sell quicker now". So I see nothing wrong with thinking "I've spent some money just to get things to most peoples tastes according to Current Fashion....so the same price is appropriate for quick sale".0 -

Was on at 299k and that's after a further £50k reduction

I was just saying I wonder how much they bought it for in the beginning to be able to do it up to high standard and then willing to except a greatly reduced price, that's all.
Prime location says not been sold since 1995 (records do not go back any further on there )
I wasn't commenting on your point about tarting a place up and your theory on a one month price reduction. This months wins February : Lashes0 -

At first glance I thought is was a CCTV camera lol, not very covert. May be is one of those tv brackets and they thought by throwing a flannel over it would hide it. Or is it some thing medical, it has wires coming out of it. Then again it maybe CCTV but perhaps its usually pointed out of the window, does that suggest dodgy are / neighbours so have disguised it.
OH says its a TV bracket and the wire is an aerial. The cloth is to "make it look nice " lolThis months wins February : Lashes0 -
