I see what you mean....
But, on balance, the thing that would worry me most about that house (effort and cost) would be removing those concrete paving stones in the garden and replacing them with something attractive. Ask me how I know......:cool::(:cool: yep....still down in my garden at the moment until I've got thousands of £s to spare....0 -

I was thinking it would be possible to put soil down on top of the paving stones, but I suppose there'd be nowhere for the rain to run off...0 -

Errrm....am guessing nothing would grow in any such soil anyway - other than weeds.
Though I guess there's always "Desperation - had to put up with the darn things for just that bit too long - regardless of what's underneath them - so they're coming up regardless":cool:0 -
When I saw the price for this house in a popular location I knew there had to be a catch. Some cosmetic work to be done inside.

They probably access it from outdoors, making it an outbuilding. I have a similar room on the end of my house, which wasn't worth the expense of a full conversion, like the garage, so we call it a boiler room. It's great for all the stuff I'd do in an attic room, if we had an attic room....0 -
