The "have a look at this!" thread II

I think the estate agent or vendor reads this thread as the pictures have changed since this morning.
Okay, that would make sense. In that case I'll try an experiement:
@EA1 - A floorplan and at least 1 picture of each room are generally a good idea when trying to sell a house. As a potential buyer I assume any rooms without pictures are complete wrecks.
@EA2 - As above plus you haven't bothered to include measurements either. Do you even want to sell the house?0 -

My thoughts exactly!!! The kitchen is blooming horrendous too; in fact it is the same one we had here when we moved in (3 1/2 years in and we've nearly finished the renovations!!)0 -
Good grief! Back in my ex-student days, I drove a taxi in Warminster, and often rocked-up in Ludlow Close for a fare of 15p.
Amazing to think those tiles and fittings were there then, stayed there all the way through my entire career, (not taxi driving!) and they're still in situ 10 years into my retirement.....yet nobody got fed up with them!
I think I'd soon have been chocker with mocca!
15p!! Be a lot more now! Amazing what goes on behind closed doors here in the Shires.0 -

You're entitled to your taste, but I wouldn't describe the kitchen as horrendous. Dated, yes, but it appears pretty functional, and the pale yellow tiles are liveable-with. I'm wondering whether we are talking about the same property, or do we really have such different ideas about what is horrendous?
This one?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
:cool:Damn - I missed a money-making opportunity on buying current house. Shoulda stuck up a sign inviting people to:
- marvel at the 1970s bathroom tiles and that unsafe bathroom fire
- the wallpaper designs
- stuff on ceilings
- the horrible tile fireplace
- the 1970s colour schemes
etc
etc
Is now going to kick myself at missing out on a good chance for some extra income:(:(:(0 -
A house we owned in the early 1970s came up for sale a few months ago and it had the same kitchen as we had (Wrighton - Bright orange Yuk now lol) The people who bought said they were going to refurbish the kitchen straight away.0
