My gran still has that exact bathroom, minus the bidet, but the same green carpet!0 -
And 'Spot the Agent' too, though not a very hard one.....0 -

The drive is imprinted concrete; considerably easier to keep than paviours, which need annual de-mossing.0 -
The hedge on the right hand side as you go in their driveway backs onto our garden. We are the wee bungalow on Bellevue Avenue.
If I were you I would go view it anyway, then you know for sure if you can eliminate it as a possibility or what. You can hint to the agent that you think its way overpriced and you never know they might come back at you saying they would take less than the advertised price.
Sounds great, what a super wee place to live. I'd rather not stretch the budget so much, and after seeing a ton of houses in bearsden i think it's just a matter of time before we find one in kirky or torrance that seems great value and suirable for a forever home :-)
Sorry, i know this is the wrong thread for this!0 -
That sideboard may hide a secret. It's very similar to one we have. The centre section revolves and reveals a drinks cabinet.0 -
In my experience imprinted concrete can be iffy. There were a spate of them in my previous area. One hard winter and the water got in beneath the surface, froze and the surface flaked off. Looked awful.0

It's true. Badly done, that can happen, just like badly done paviours sink and weeds grow through thin tarmac.
There's gravel....0 -
I know which of their bathrooms is my favourite:

(sorry, still can't post proper links).
Lovely in many ways - weird layout but understandable given the history and B listing BUT you're right next to a popular dog walking beach so very little privacy and I suspect you'd end up policing the area with yoofs starting fires and smashing cider bottles down by the water on summer nights...0
