Do you pay the pru health premium plus the discounted gym membership or just the reduced gym membership?0 -

you would need to pay the premium PLUS a subsidised gym membership fee of GBP25 per month if you continue with the gym membership.0 -
hi everyone, i just got an email from pruhealth stating that if you cancel the policy (after 6 months) after having enjoyed the free gym, they reserve the right to ask members to refund to them the cost of the membership fees (!!). Here's the email:
"Thank you for contacting us through our website on 24 January 2007 and for taking an interest in PruHealth.
All members who take up a PruHealth membership do not have a time limit set to them. While you do sign a contract it is not necessarily for more or less than a year. Members can cancel their PruHealth policies at any time and there is no additional charge or penalty fee for cancellation. The only payment required is for the period that members have health cover. However, if members joining have had access to a Vitality offer where they have received free six months gym memberships we reserve the right to ask members cancelling their policies to refund us the cost of these membership fees.
When members cancel their PruHealth policy we require a 30 day notice period of their cancellation. However, if members wish to cancel their policy within the first 30 days of the beginning of the policy they can do so with no notice period."
anyone had any problems with this?0 -

The offer hasn't been running for 6 months yet so I doubt it.
This is the problem though - a whole load of moneysavers are going to try and cancel after 6 months and Pru surely won't want to lose all that money0
