Just back from my review at the gym as part of the GP referral scheme. My blood pressure has come down a bit (still what they consider borderline - but it is heading in the right direction) and my lung capacity has improved.

Added to the weight loss and feeling much more energetic I am pretty pleased with that. :T

  • :wave:Hi Betty - nice to see you around again, I was only thinking the other day it was quiet on here without you :D I am sure you will look lovely on your wedding day, but do what will make you happy

Brighton Belle - Just reading what you have posted about your wedding day sounds perfect to me :o The afternoon tea idea, the flowers in teapots sounds very Alice in Wonderland :D I just hope you have lovely weather on the day to just finish it off.

Jess - well done on the gym results :T

Eric - almost at goal :j go you!!!

Vix - A new man ? Look at you getting your new life sorted :rotfl: How are you finding Creepy Crawley ?

Trigirl - Well done on getting to your goal weight :T That 12 hr cycling marathon you did sounds horrible. Could you help me with some running drills please when you have a spare few minutes :D

I still have not got the strength up yet to try insanity, I guess I am a little scared that I am not up to it and make a fool of myself. I have been slowly getting back into my running but no where near as fit as I was before that horrid man flu :( I'm not expecting any more weight loss this week as for some reason it gets darker earlier and I want to eat more  I think my body wants me to hibernate so stuff my face in September and sleep until March :rotfl:

Good luck with weigh in this week :D

Thanks alliwant lovely to hear from you again, I have missed this board!

Sorry to hear you've been ill and stopped running. I have stopped running too but only because I got lazy :( I am starting to go to more gym classes tho.

I have the same reaction to the darker evenings, want to eat comfort food and stay indoors - must resist tho!

Got on the scales today - my weigh in is supposed to be sunday AM (only cos now I have to go to work early so i wont remember on a weds!) but I forgot and had brekkie on sunday so I weighed myself today instead - lost 2.5lb this week! :D do we still have a weekly chart??? Does fred still do it?

Hi Betty nice to see you - yes I'm still turning up like a bad penny every Wednesday with a chart or 2 :p

Glad the wedding plans are going well - I'm sure you'll have a wonderful day.
