tea has much less caffeine than coffee

its a personal choice like artificial sweeteners we have to make our own mind as to what we eat and don't eat

for me i dont want anything that can hinder my weight loss or is generally bad for me, so i avoid caffeine, alcohol, aspartame, trans fats and high fructose corn syrup (i just returned some pate in tescos after i found it had HFCS in it ...)

    but i do eat sucralose

there's some superb decaff coffees about, no one who comes to our house can tell

  • I know it's not weigh-in day, but I can't resist.

I've been doing the Dukan Diet for 51 days now. It has been slow and steady, not losing weight very rapidly, even gaining a fraction this last Wednesday, but now, it seems to have decided to go bang!

This morning I weigh 68.4 kg. That's exactly 1 kg down from Wednesday. 68.8 kg yesterday, that was 0.5 kg down from the day before.

I'll have been doing it for 8 weeks come Sunday, and it really does seem to be working!

  • Hello I've just read this whole thread over the last couple of days(!)

I've decided that I need to lose some weight as since getting loved up 3 years ago it just seems to be going up and up. I don't really fancy paying for ww or sw but am hopingto group support here should be enough to help.

I am sure I will have plenty of questions as am liking the idea of low carb eating (I've learnt a lot about it on here already) but I know I will struggle with ideas of what to eat instead. And I thought my idea of pasta and homemade pasta sauce was healthy eating... Lol

    Hey all!

FS 2.5 mile run for me C25K run 2 week 9.

I have now joined the local gym on a pay as you go basis £5.8/£3.8 so I can continue my running when it gets dark at night and also to add resistance training to my exercise regime.
