    Morning all!

FS 1.5 lbs loss for me this week, thanks.

not bad considering fish and chips one night and curry another, cooking is a bit tough under inches of brick dust.

    Hope everyone is fine.

2lb gain for me this week. Sorry team. I blame this on being at the seaside, but also on myself for making cookies for the kids then giving into temptation myself.
Also adding 2hr 7 mins to the challenge. This is from yesterday and today.

Going to be really strict on myself next week.

    Hey Everyone,

Well it's a 2 lb gain since my last weigh in. It's actually more like 1 and a half lbs, but I'm sticking to the rounded figure that they give on the wii as I get confused otherwise.
Not too bothered by that as it's a lot better than the 6 lb gain I had when I first got back! It's also a lot better than last month as I think I gained more than that after the last holiday.

Oh and I've failed all challenges! I've lost 1lb out of 5 this month, still have around 5 hours exercise to go, which isn't really going to happen as I'm out all day. And as for the team challenge, I don't think 1 lb a month is really going to cut it, lol. Oh, and I've also failed my poor little fishies on the team challenge, which is quite sad as the little one (we had two) died yesterday :(.

Well I can't do much worse than this next month, lol... onwards and upwards!!! :D
  • Hey everyone,

0.5lb gain this week. :-( Had a difficult week exercise wise, have been on early shifts all this week, and have been shattered. Lost a bit of track with eating too - I seem to be drifting back to bread items when I know that they aren't good for me.

I suppose I'min a vicious cycle - tired due to shift patterns, which leads to lack of exercise and poor eating which in turn, leads to more tiredness and lethargy. Anyone have any tips on how to break the chain?

Oh, and can you log 1hr of exercise for Mon

You have my sympathy Bex. I did nights for about 8 years and it wasn't until I stopped that I realised how chronically tired it had made me.

In terms of eating when I did do shifts, I tended to keep eating at the same sort of times but in reverse IYSWIM - I would get out of bed and eat the evening meal with the family before going in to do my night shift, eat my lunch in the middle of the night and then have my breakfast before going to bed in the morning.

The main problem for me was the 'swapover' days when I would stay up when I got home from work - this resulted in me basically eating both day and night for 24 hours twice a week. Not good for the figure :o

  • 1lb loss for me this week. Next mini-target is to lose 7lbs. Need to lose further 10lbs in total, which will then give me a BMI of 25 (not overweight!)

I know how hard it is to eat properly while working. I got up at 3am, and all i've had today is frosties cereal and a packet of crisps. I'm glad i'm at home cos i'm that tired i have no energy to even make anything! Still, naples was lovely and warm today!

    Hope everyones well :D

Welcome back. You've been missed :D And awesome to lose so much weight whilst on holiday and enjoying yourself. Must have been all fresh and organic food compared to all the fatty foods over here :rotfl:

    Hey chick! :)

Thanks, it's weird to be back lol.

Weird thing is i allowed myself to eat all the stuff that i prevented myself eating over here, so chips, fried chicken, pizza, crisps etc. That's why im so shocked i lost weight haha. :rotfl:I think subconsciously i was still aware of my plan, so maybe thats why i never used to eat much even though i still thought i was eating loads, because after a while my body got used to it, so the littlest of food used to fill me up and make me bloated. My next weigh in will probably increase due to the change in eating but not really that fussed anymore.

All my family members kept telling me that i lost so much weight, and how if i kept it up i'd waste away. :rotfl:Not likely lol. I also kept getting comments that i had the best figure out of my sisters, both of them are size 8 and have the kind of body im aiming for except they're less toned than i want to be. :rotfl: Still, size 8 vs. size 10/12? I'd take size 8 any day lol.

How's things with you? Any progress?

You probably do have the best figure but you can't see it 25.gif lol. I'm doing good, thanks. Finished Insanity Round 2 but still got my belly 4.gif

I'm now 3 weeks into turbofire. Don't know if it gets harder later on but it's not as intense as Insanity :rotfl:I'm enjoying it though. Planning to workout twice in September if it's doable i.e. do a workout in the morning before work and one in the evening so it'll half the time I'll take to complete the 90 day programme. Anyway, we'll see.

What workout are you planning on starting now? I really wish I could do P90x but really don't want to fork out on equipment e.g. pull-up bar etc etc.
