Thanks for the chart Fred

Congratulations to all three SOTW :T:T:T

Also, well done to Matryoshka and Trigirl who are steaming ahead in the Challenge. I am in awe - don't know how you fit so much in.

Feeling absolutely shattered today - I thought increasing excercise was surposed to give you more energy?

    Jess

its important to rest sometimes for a couple of days at a time

feeling drained for no reason is often a sign that you are approaching or in metabolic shut down

or you have a bug :p

Hello everybody. Well done losers :T

Fredsnail, since I'm almost in Australia (if not already there), could you add on 5 hours 2 minutes please to my challenge so I can make it to New Zealand instead?

    http://www.travelmath.com/flight-time/from/Australia/to/New+Zealand

I'm off work next week so I can put in the hours. Thanks :D
    4th day Turbofire

    Fire 30 minutes
    Stretch 10 minutes
    Total: 40 minutes

I was frustrated because I still couldn't keep up with the moves. By the time I "got it", they've moved on to something else :rotfl:I felt like those unco-ordinated people in the Aerobics class in the gym :rotfl: So anyway, I decided to go to the gym afterwards and took out my frustration on the crosstrainer.

Challenge: 5k in 30 minutes or less. I did it :j:j:jbut I was panting so much and was still breathing heavily after I'd done it :D

    Crosstrainer - 5k - 22minutes 32 seconds (232 calories)

    Exercise Bike - 10k - 25 minutes (184 calories)

    Today's Overall Total: 1 hour 27 minutes 32 seconds :D :j

My next challenge is to do 5k in 30 minutes on the treadmill  :rotfl:Eric, at what speed would I have to go? Not sure I could run on the treadmill consistently at speed 10

Well I thought I'd try the Tesco Finest greek yogurt today as I had a clubcard voucher to use... OMG it is delicious, maybe even MORE delicious than the Total one!!! There's not much in it, but I think I may actually prefer this one. It's about 20p cheaper too... :money:

OK, I've made some pretty bad food choices today :(. I feel like I need a really good workout! Had a mini one this morning before the kids got up (only 15 mins, will add it later), but would feel happier about my poor diet day if I can make up for it with exercise.
Got a headache and feeling tired atm so have just had a couple of paracetamol tablets, and am supping an energy drink to psych myself up, lol - yes, I know how bad they are, but I need them! They are sugar free ones, so not as bad as they could be :p.

Oh, that doesn't sound good!!! What does that involve then? ie, why would your body do that, and what can you do about it? I always go through periods of feeling constantly drained, with no apparent reason. I usually shrug it off thinking it's a lack of iron as I'm prone to Anaemia, but my diet never really changes that much before I get the symptoms

Its a famine response to protect your organs in the event of a lack of food, the body slows down your metabolism so you need less food but you feel tired as a result, it often leads to STS as well

its a difficult balancing act to eat enough to keep up exercise and weight loss but not to little so as to shut yourself down, made even harder the longer you are loosing weight for or as you get close to goal as the body wants to hang on to some body fat

of course there are lots of other reasons for feeling tired
