Hi anyone who remembers me!
Just a quick flying visit to say hi and hope everyone is doing OK!
The only weight loss related thing I can report is that after 3+ years of dedicated calorie counting, I haven't counted a single calorie for over a month... and haven't gained any weight. So that is encouraging! (Although I do plan to go back to counting after the hols!)
Still plodding away at my 1,000 miles in 12 months running challenge, which I'm getting close to completing and I'll be glad to move onto some fresh challenges
Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of the summer xxx0 -
Hey Missey

This is ALL what I've eaten today. Can someone analyse this please. I don't have this everyday btw
Bowl of Greek yogurt with honey and blueberries
Unsweetened tea with milk i.e. no sugar (I'll abbreviate this to UTM)
2 bananas
UTM
Haribo starmix (mini packet) - only because it was in my bag
Rice, fried plantain with meat stew
Water
Mars Bar (went somewhere after work so late for my tea)
Cola (Lidl freeway one)
Corned dough with meat stew
UTM
How many calories do you reckon? :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, a quick question: What's the best way to make Green Tea? I can't drink it unsweetened and not sure we should add milk to it. I normally just add a dash of honey but unsure if that's the right way to get the goodness inside.SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Not sure of the calories on there.
But green tea, i would say add a little bit of honey or sugar, have never added milk to it, but it doesnt sound very nicePAD Maker0 -
Hey Everyone,
Well I've been trying a new approach today. I find that sometimes when I restrict or monitor my food intake that I get obsessed with food and am constantly hungry! Sometimes I'm OK, but lately I've been feeling a bit restricted and obsessing over how many cals I've got left each day. I've decided to go for a 'healthy eating approach' and not bother counting or measuring, just sticking to healthy foods, and limiting my portion sizes.
Not sure how it will work out, but I think I've done pretty well today. I've not eaten as much as I have done in the last few days, and haven't been thinking about food as much - which can only be a good thing!
I know what's good for me and what isn't, and can now eat as much 'good food' as I need to - without trying to restrict myself by worrying about dividing my cals out over the day. I think that I probably used to eat a little less than I really needed to at meals (trying to balance my cals), which then left me hungry and prone to snacking - I then ended up eating more over the meals and snacks than I would have if I'd just eaten a normal sized meal in the first place - if that makes sense?0 -
1 hr for yeterday to add, and 34 mins to add to today
So 1 hr 34 mins to addPAD Maker0 -
Everyone's doing well on the exercise challenge :j0
