Hi all
Phew, what a day! I'm whacked and we're out again tonight so more walking. By the end of the day I'll have walked about 6km.
Fred - do you want daily updates on the Paris challenge or would you prefer a weekly total?

Hey All
Good day, it was exercise tuesday and i did my usual 1 hour zumba sometimes it varies between the hour and 50 mins, then in the evening ive done 1 hour and 30 mins of my kick boxing class, which was very good, had porridge for brekkie, curry, veg and rice for lunch, had a big lunch as needed before i went to kickboxing, but everything was in decent portions, not too much, because i get home late had a pret italian baguette on the bus on the way home, had 2 mint teas today, managed to resist my colleague, who bought some jam and sprinkles donuts in, wasnt even tempted lol.
Hope everyone is well and doing well!Lose 28lb 3/28lb

It has Pilates, Arms & shoulders, Fat burning blast, belly fat blaster and yoga for flexibility.
You can either choose the one you want to do or press Play All. I pressed Play All as thought it'd be ridiculous to just do a 10 minute workout :rotfl:
Anyway, can I just say that "It works"! I'm quite surprised as thought it would be rubbish as I have done Insanity and Turbofire so wondered what on else this could contribute. My heart got a good pounding :rotfl:
The entire DVD is about 55 minutes long and because the workout is varied, it's not boring at all. I thought the Fat Burning Blast was the one that got me pumping the most but I liked the order the workouts were in. Start with Pilates to stretch your body, then do cardio, and finally finish off with Yoga.
I'll be doing the DVD this week then start Insanity (again) next week
Thanks - I ended up purchasing Blast Off Belly Fat as something different from 30 Day Shred. I only tried three of the workouts, the first didn't seem to do an awful lot, but then I struggled with some of the exercises and was more concentrated on watching the screen working out what to do! However, during the second section I definitely felt the burn on my abs and the third was a cardio session.
My OH doesn't seem to like this DVD though, so might have to save it for days when he's not taking part (lazy bones!) or while I'm in the house alone.
Is this the Insanity you refer to by the way?

Whichever is easiest for you - I read all the posts so if you want to log as you go along I'll note it or you can log it weekly.0 -
66.8 kg today. That's - 0.2 kg from a week ago.
We went to a funeral yesterday, approx 70 miles from home. Because we knew the Requiem Mass was at lunch-time we had a decent breakfast, boiled egg and wholemeal seeded bread (we get this from our local artisan baker). From church to the cemetery, we didn't do this bit because (a) paths were treacherous and (b) we thought we'd find somewhere and have lunch rather than waiting for the buffet at the wake. From experience, buffet at a wake is usually things we can't eat anyway! We went to the pub next to the hotel where the wake was to be held. I had beef casserole cooked with herbs and red wine, peas and mashed potato. DH had gammon, egg and chips. We rarely eat potato these days but both the mash, and the chips, were lovely. That was it. I didn't have anything else until we got home, although there was a lot of food at the buffet but nothing I wanted or fancied.
In the evening I had Dukan oat bran porridge with yogurt, half a clementine, then a Perle de Lait yogurt later. We had a fruity infusion - lovely on a cold evening.
I can't always watch evening TV because the food ads are really there 'in your face'. Magnum ice lollies sponsor a drama series, for instance! Yes log the time you did and what you did and I'll give you a rough equivalent mileage.
Thanks FredThis week I have done 45 min Bootcamp, 1 hour Tia Chi and 3.5 miles on the treadmill.
My salsa aerobics class was cancelled yesterday (not enough people turned up - just me) This seems to be happening quite a bit lately. I would have thought people would be eager at this time of year.
Unfortunately a1lb gain for me this week Fred.
Good luck with the weight loss everyone.0 -
STS this week. Not happy as I've done 5 hours of exercise this week so hoped for at least a 1 lb loss!
... Maybe next week
Not much time on the bike though so nothing I can really add to the challenge. Might try and get on it later but I find that I get a better workout on Just Dance so tend to go for that as it will benefit me more.0 -
STS for me this week. To be fair I've not been to bootcamp as my son has been ill and the weather has been shocking. Not been to bad food wise. I have stayed at thisweight for about 3 months now and can't help thinking if I made a big effort I wouls see results.DFW Nerd 1394.
