Hello everyone,
Fred - I would like to report another 4lbs loss!!:j
I can't quite believe how well things are going and I'm a bit worried that its coming off a bit quick. I am obviously in the correct frame of mind for doing this. I'm managing to stick with my healthy eating plan.
Dexter and I are going for lots of lovely walks, he is also really benefitting running about with his other doggy pals. Happy Dog = Happy Owner. :T
I'm aiming to lose another 2 lbs next week and that will be my stone for the month. Fingers crossed!!;)

I'm reporting a disappointing STSthis week also  Think the few days of feeling poorly hit me. Also had an upset tummy too on top and feel like a bloated whale so don't think that is helping either.....
Fred - can I add
276 sets of Home stairs
38 sets of Work stairs
Thank you :A Still not at the top yet but I have my eye on the top and will make sure I make it even if it kills me :rotfl:
Romylou Well done on the great Loss :j go you :T
Lolly - Glad you got your Foot checked, just take it slow and let it recover properly.
As far as the exercise DVD question goes - I know I am a little late but I would vote for the 30 day shred as it was good for me. I have just borrowed from a work colleague the 6 week 6 pack by Jillian Michaels which I hope to attack when I am feeling better.Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0 -

Here's this weeks Home countries team challenge:
Congratulations to Scotland and Wales for winning this week, and congratulations to Scotland for winning the challenge this month.
Next month will be an Oscar challenge - which of the following actors will win the Oscar in February:
George Clooney - The Descendants
Brad Pitt - Moneyball
Jean Dujardin - The Artist
Damian Bichir - A Better Life

Let me know which team you'd like to join so we can cheer them on :T:T
Here's this weeks Everest Challenge Chart:
I will do a final chart next week for this challenge and will take any results posted upto the 31 Jan.
Next month will be a Valentines/leap year challenge. Paris is allegedly the most romantic city. It is 213 miles from London to Paris.
If you want to tackle the whole distance of 213 miles let me know, otherwise you can either log your distances as you go through the month and we can see how far you travel, or you can aim for an tenth, twentieth, quarter of the distance.
To sign up to the Paris challenge please post below and let me know how many miles you will be aiming for (or if you're just logging your miles).
Congratulations to Romylou and ms_night_ryder who have achieved this months 5lb challenge.
To sign up to the 5lb challenge please post below.
This weeks quote is from Thomas D. Willhite

This seems like a good read. I downloaded it yesterday but not yet read it thoroughly

Hi all
Well done Romylou - that's a great loss! :T
I'd like to join in the Paris challenge, although I'm not quite sure how it works. Do I report in how many miles I walk? Can I count miles cycled?
And I'd like to join the George Clooney team - I haven't seen any of those films so I've gone for the person I like best!
Thanks for all your work Fred, you're doing a fantastic job.
I'm linedancing again this afternoon, and I walk or cycle there, 1km each way, which explains my query above.
Hope everyone's having a good day.
LL
p.s. edit to add, in case anyone thinks linedancing is all country music, we're learning a new dance to Olly Murs record, 'Just want you to dance with me tonight'. It just came on the radio and reminded me!Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
