  • done the 240 sit ups as i missed yesterday, done them throughout the day, no other exercise done, not feeling great, so been holed up in bed all day, had steamed salmon, rice and veg for lunch, dinner was sweetchilli sausages, done first in the george forman then a homemade sweetchilli sauce ketchup, honey and chilli powder, had steamed rice leftover so turned it into egg fried rice as had eggs needed using, fried it in that flora low calorie stuff had it with veg.

weighing myself tomorrow, gulp, not sure of the outcome, will post tomorrow.

    Hey all,

Just a quick post to say I am still alive.

FS STS this week as documented, thanks for putting me in the target list, happy to be there.

Excesses of Xmas behind me, although dinner tonight was soup and homemade Banana cake yum!

Getting back to exercise, have a new Android smartphone so am using Endmondo to tracker my runs, very useful, love the stats. Monday should see me return to Body Pump classes which would be good.

One quirky thing my family are conspiring against me to stop me weighing my food, they hid my scales this week, I guess I can be OCD about the weighing although it is just a comfort thing, now I have lost the weight I want to be damn sure it does not come back. New years resolution, wean myself off weighing meals, although my other resolution , get to bed before midnight isn't going so well (see posting time :o)

Anyway, time for bed, chin up everyone, and to quote young Mr Grace "you have all done very well"

You could do it as a distance challenge instead of a climbing one - it would be easier.

But I will take you off if you want.

How far is it in miles Fred?

Went for a walk around the block yesterday - quite painful but felt I needed to get moving.

it's a -5lb loss for me this week

First week and i am so pleased, this week will up the anti with the exercise, zumba class resumes on tuesday and will walk all week, keep up with the sit ups and introduce a workout on saturdays, wanted to do it this week, but wasnt feeling great.

My friend at work said yes we will do this together starting this week, on the first day back wed, she skipped breakfast and had a crossaint and a soup for lunch, so i said thats no good for ou, i said will you start properly tomorrow, she agreed, the next day i came in and said what you having for breakfast? she said i got a flapjack, i said thats no good for you, she said yea its fine, its oats, lol then my colleagues started saying thats the worst thing for you, its full of butter, on the friday she said to me, why don't we start a fresh on monday, i said it may be best for you, but i have already started so there is no point undoing the work, she then confessed that she had a kebab and pizza for her dinners, she says she will get some healthy stuff over the weekend, so we will see, i have tried to encourage her alot this week, but i think ultimately you need to want to help yourself, she comes to zumba with me at lunch times, so we shall see what happens this week.

One thing i know for sure is i wont be giving up! i have this thread for encouragement and it has helped so much, i don't think any of you understand.

Sorry for my long post, happy sunday! you are all:A

  • MY New Year resolution - only eat if you are sitting at a table, and whatever you eat, eat if off a plate! I seem to have developed a bad habit of snacking "on the hoof", even low carb snacks like mini babybel, pepperami and nuts, which is not good!
Reading the Food Doctor book at the moment, looking at for a sustainable way for to maintain my weight, and avoid Christmas (or other) blow-outs, but my goodness, some of the suggested portion sizes are small!

Well done guys! Yesterday was my first day without having any chocolate in 2012 :) I thought about having toast with butter this morning, but cheerios won! I'm just going to have a dance now and then thats my exercise done for the day.

I hit the scales the other day and weighed 62 :( I was 60 at one point so i have some shifting to do. Day two of no chocolate coming up :)
