66.7 kg today, that's + 0.3 kg up on last week.

    I notice that the
weight seems to be gradually creeping back on. I can't blame all the 'seasonal eating' that everyone talks about because I haven't had any, none of the crisps, chocolate, cakes, puddings, booze etc that everyone is bemoaning. The only thing I can think is, lack of exercise. I'd started going to aqua-fit 3 x week but obviously, the pool has been closed. Re-starts today and then life can get back to normal.

    13.13.8 which is -2lbs

Some of this is gradually eating better as the week has gone on, but i think more is from exercise

80 flights of stairs to add in, plus a few walks and time on the wii fit.

For me this is one the best, most committed starts i think i've ever done, so fingers crossed it pushes me further.

Just wanted to thank Jess and Lolly. I've decided to attempt the Everest challenge after reading your posts above. I thought i'd do them in blocks of 10, and they dont take long, however it soon got me breathless!
So 10 flights so far, but i'm feeling positive for tomorrow, and will definately need to up my water intake too.
Think in a weeks time i could add some small kilo weights too, but dont want to get too ahead of myself here!

You're welcome! :) The Everest challenge is great. It's pretty tough, but you can spread it out over the day so it's not too much. You're braver than me though, doing 10 at a time! DS1 (he's appointed himself as my personal trainer!) made me do 10 as fast as I could last night. It was quite funny, as when I got to number 9, he took one look at my face and offered to walk with me for the last one so I didn't collapse! :rotfl:
Hey everyone, i havent started on the cardio as yet, but did start the sit ups yesterday, am going to do todays during fat fighter breaks, very determined as on new years day, as i was coming back from a party, i saw an x and he said to me, you pregnant yeah and pointed to my belly! i was wearing a coat as well :( this made me real sad and as i type this i can only laugh at hhis cheek.

So deffo gonna do 120 sit ups as per yesterday, fat fighters is aiding me.

How awful of him!!! :( It may be helpful in a way though as comments like that tend to make you even more determined to lose weight. I've been loving your posts lately as I can see how motivated you are, and it's helping me get back into it. :)

I've been stuck in 'holiday mode' for ages now, lol. Started to get back to normal yesterday, but the kids are back at school and nursery today so the structure and routine will really help.

I'm -1lb and +73 flights :) Quite happy with that as I only really started again on the 2nd, although kinda hoped that a little bit more of Monday's takeaway gain might have come off - it's now a 4lb gain from one meal... that's gotta put you off! ;)

    Hi

Weight today is 13st 10lb, disappointing but I deserve it.

Today I am starting my healthy eating seriously, have walked to town and back, have done 40 stair climbs so far and already have aching calves!

    ETA - 10 more = 50.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

I will be watching the fat fighters tonight at 8, then straight onto the biggest loser at 9. Looks like a good night of telly.

Anyone else think that fat fighters was a bit wierd - all of the skimpy clothes and whips - not sure whether it would inspire me to get of the couch and down to the gym :rotfl:

A 0.5 lb gain for me this week and 53 flights of stairs so far please Fred.

Think I hit the exercise too much yesterday after a couple of weeks doing very little. Pulled my back which didn't seem too bad at first but got worse last night. Lots of pain turning over in bed. Sitting with a cold compress on it now and taking regular ibuprofen to try to sort it out - I just hate the way something always gets in the way of me trying to get fitter.

Great to see so many people posting on the thread again and how motivated we all are.:T I just know we will all see some fab results this year.
