Back to bootcamp tonight, so much more difficult after a week off.

I agree Lolly, really looking forward to new year when gym is open again, parties over and cupboards free of 'goodies'.

I bought I new set of scales today that analyse body fat/ muscle, so I hope I can work hard to improve the ratio.

How do you guys stay full up whilst watching what you eat? My biggest downfall is being hungry and eating the quickest thing i can find. Plus, working in a plane makes you hungrier i swear! I'll get up at 3/4 and i'll stay up till 10pm or so, so my day is a lot longer and obviously with that it means i need to eat more. Or it feels like i do!
  • Hi

I'm another one who is going backwards for Christmas :D - 13st 8lb on Weds so 2lb on.

Fredsnail - please could you put me down for the 5lb challenge for January (hopefully it'll come off quite quickly) and I'll also do the climbing challenge. I'll go and count/measure the stairs later and I quite fancy this one though my legs have started to ache thinking about it! I think it will be more difficult than it sounds!

Well done to everybody who has lost over Christmas, you have amazing willpower!

Have a lovely New Year and here's to making 2012 the year we really give this a go!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

Anyone wishing to do the climb challenge please can you measure your stairs - let me know if it's feet/inches or cms/metres and then during January you can let me know how many times you've climbed so I can track your progress.:j:j:j

Anyone wishing to do Everest as the distance challenge please just log your distances as normal :T

Cuppa soups help me when I'm hungry vix, sometimes I have the ones with pasta in them (or mug shots) which are quite reasonable fat/calorie wise.
  • When I want something quick its usually ham, tomatoes and beetroot. I am the butt of many a joke in work because of it!
    Also fruit and omelettes.

I think I read somewhere that lack of sleep does make you eat more. Not sure why, maybe tiredness reduces willpower, or you feel like you need food to give you a 'boost'. I don't know, but I definitely seem to eat more when I've not slept much.

Protein will help keep you full, I have eggs for breakfast a lot and always find that they keep me full for a lot longer than toast/cereal/etc.

Sorry Fred, I forgot to mention... my stairs are 100" - remembered from the last few challenges :D, it's now etched on my brain from converting the height each day, lol.
