Well.... its a bit like an animated Raiders of the lost ark an all action run around with ships and pirates thrown in.

DS2 wanted to see it after seeing the trailer as much for the humour as the action however despite having film comic geniuses like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost it lacked much in the humour department.

I am not saying its a bad film but I do not understand the drive to make animated characters look so real, why not use real actors? The animation style was different but I felt it failed on a few occasions not pulling of a consistent level of realism. Plot wise I am not sure it had a clear enough narrative but it wasn't complicated for me the film score 6/10.

Thanks. :) Not so keen on seeing it now, lol. DS2 loves tintin though so we'll still have to go, and he will probably love it anyway just because it is Tintin!
Hi, not sure if this thread, or an updated one will run for 2012 but I would love to join if possible. I am intending losing 21 lbs over the course of the year and would appreciate being able to track this without the cost of WW etc.

    :o

Hi Tilly :hello: Welcome to the thread! Yes, we'll still be around next year :p We move to a new thread every so often but will always be here :)

Well it's a 1 lb loss for me this week. I double weighed this morning as I've got some new scales. Had a play around yesterday and they seem really accurate, pitted them against the wii this morning and they showed the same weight, so I can start using the scales without having to make any weight adjustments. Looking forward to weighing in everyday again so I can get a better understanding of my losses/gains, it will hopefully increase my motivation too as I've only been weighing once a week on the wii (it's a bit of a hassle weighing in on there :o) so never really know if it's a true loss/gain or just water weight/salt/etc.

My latest focus is drinking more water, as it's such a help when you're dieting, but I'm really not drinking enough at the moment. I've got a 1.5L bottle that I've been refilling with squash just before I go to bed so I can sip at it whenever I wake up in the night (usually 3-4 times :(). I've been aiming to finish the bottle by around midday and refill it for the afternoon/evening.

    - 3/4 lb loss for me this week. Hoped for a little more, but it all helps.

Does anyone here do Yoga? I am wondering whether it might help to loosen up my frozen shoulder. I have been referred for physio, but my appointment is not until Dec and I really am fed up of it now, so though Yoga might be worth a try.

  • Really challenging to see the Real Proofs from the real people. I am planning to loose my weight. I am not very fat but I am worried when my favorite dress doesn't fit me. I found I have muscles only in my hand and legs which make me look fat. I am planning to go through some serious steps to get the look which I got few years back.

  • 67.3 kg today. That's - 0.1 kg from last week.

Going to water aerobics at LA Fitness this morning, 45 mins, 3 x week.

However, I am not having a lot of success going from the 67s to the 66s. I've been in the 67s for about a month now.
