1 hour for me please. I discovered bodyrock.tv the other day. It has lots of videos of short intense workouts which really get the heart pumping. I've only tried 2 and my butt us so sore, I never knew I had muscles there!

    Hey Everyone,

Occy - How was Tintin? My DS1 has been wanting to see it, so will probably take him next week.

Well.... its a bit like an animated Raiders of the lost ark an all action run around with ships and pirates thrown in.

DS2 wanted to see it after seeing the trailer as much for the humour as the action however despite having film comic geniuses like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost it lacked much in the humour department.

I am not saying its a bad film but I do not understand the drive to make animated characters look so real, why not use real actors? The animation style was different but I felt it failed on a few occasions not pulling of a consistent level of realism. Plot wise I am not sure it had a clear enough narrative but it wasn't complicated for me the film score 6/10.

Salsa aerobics sounds interesting and good fun.

I really enjoy it Frodo - its like Zumba but slower and less complicated. I am hoping that as I get fitter I can progress to Zumba, but I am so uncoordinated it has to be seen to be believed :o

  • -0.2lbs for me this week, Fred.

It hardly seems worth posting, but I like to keep an accurate record of me losses/sts/gains.

I'm not sure why I haven't lost anything this week, I've been pretty good... I fear that I may be hitting a plateau - I've lost 83.2lbs so far, and still have 58.8lbs to go, I'm currenty a size 18 and in the past I have found it almost impossible to get down to the next dress size.

Oh well, just have to keep going.

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Don't let lack of coordination put you off zumba it adds to the fun. I used to go with my daughters and friends. We used to spend so much time laughing at each other, we didnt realise how hard we were working out.

Don't know why we stopped going really, we all really loved it.

  • Hi, not sure if this thread, or an updated one will run for 2012 but I would love to join if possible. I am intending losing 21 lbs over the course of the year and would appreciate being able to track this without the cost of WW etc.
