ooo Good luck with that jess, I couldn't imagine not eating bread, I honestly wouldn't know what else to eat.
I've had a horrible cold over the weekend which has put a hold on the exercise but not my eating:o But it seems to be getting better now, managed a run this morning and me and the kids are going to out for a nice walk soon as the weather is lovely here.
Weight wise, things just don't seem to be moving, although it's not going up either. I would love to loose another couple of pounds before 20th nov as we have a christening and my oh and I are going to be godparents, so excited but not so much at the thought of standing up at the front of church:eek:LBM 04/10:j

35 minutes on the Wii fit for me today.
Hope everyone is well.
I too didn't have a good October, not done as much exercise as I would have liked, and too many things have passed my lips that shouldn't.
We can all only look to the future. November, new month, new start.:)
Heres hoping December finds me at least half a stone lighter.:TDFW Nerd 1394.

Eric.. your favourite (and my favourite) oat bars are on offer again (nature valley bars), this time in Tesco B1G1F.Just thought i'd let you know just in case you didn't know already.
To everyone else struggling with motivation/food/exercise, look back at previous pictures/videos when you were at your biggest, it'll be a real kick up the backside. Seriously though, you've all done so good so far, don't waste the effort and pile everything back on. We've all started the journey for a variety of reasons, but the main thing being to get healthier. When you're reaching for the piece of cake, ask yourself: is it in your daily allowance? Do you really need it? Can you perhaps substitute it with something else that is much better for you? And when you do have it, do you really need to eat the whole thing? It's questions like these and others that help you realise your problem with food and why you let it get to you in such a way that you became big. Sorting out your nutrition is always the first step, not exercise. But weight loss (fat loss) is always gonna be like 80-20 food to exercise ratio in terms of which one has more importance. Once you figure out and understand good nutrition and understand that you can have certain things in moderation, you can learn from that and go on once you get to maintenance stage and build up on the exercise if need be.
This advice also goes to me too. I guess I need to stop seeing food as the devil because I'm really starting to get anorexic feelings. Trying to change and get support so hopefully I can battle it beforre it gets too late.0 -
Happy November Beanie!
Lots of positive posts today!!!I've gotten into some strange eating habits lately, lol. Sometimes I'll go until almost lunch without eating (I actually forget that I haven't eaten!), then overeat in the afternoon (I always seem to think that I need to 'make up for it'
) and have nothing in the evening... or, I'll be constantly hungry and nibbling on things in the morning, then eat nothing until 8-9pm!
I really need to start to get back into a normal routine - I think eating breakfast would help as I'm up at 7am but never manage to eat before at least 9.30am as I'm always rushing around getting the kids ready. I bought some hazelnut breakfast bar things today so will make sure I have one while I'm packing DS1's lunchbox in the morning, and see if that helps!0 -

OMG, I just got on the wii and it told me I'd put on 9lb! I nearly fainted, lol. It then told me I'd lost 1lb, I tried it again and it gave another 1lb loss... it must have just been having a silly moment, lol.
My step thing for the balance board came yesterday (didn't use it while weighing!), it looks really sturdy and looks like it will be a much tougher workout as the board is now just over 5". I was going to try it out last night but we had a friend round so will go on it tonight, and make a start on this exercise challenge!0 -
-1 lb for me this week! massively late with my weigh in this week, have been too busy falling off the wagon - friend came round with one of those Ikea almond tortes last night and I feel heavier already this morning!

I haven't eaten any bread at all since the end of July. Nor any potatoes. I'll probably never eat potatoes again, in any shape or form. When I get to my 'true weight' I'll be allowed 2 medium slices of wholemeal bread daily.
