  • Boot camp today (don't know what that counts as!).

I didn't make it to weigh in last night by the time I got in from work. So I'll count it as a STS and will work extra hard from now on to make sure its not a gain next week.

Fred snail can you please put me down for the Rockets. I would also like to try again for the 5lb challange and 14 hours return trip.

1 hour Salsa Aerobics for me today. It has been a while since I have been to this. Felt and looked totally uncoordinated - lol. Not sure whether htis can count towards the channel challenge?

Bootcamp again tomorrow morning - so hoping the rain stays off.
  • Hey all,

I've been a bit absent this month on here - came back from a week away at the end of September, then did 8 days straight at work followed by numerous extra shifts and has left me feeling zapped.

I'm back on board for Nov :) Can you put me down for 14hrs in the exercise challenge and I'll be on the Sparklers team. I'll also try out for the 5lb challenge for the first time!

    Hey all

FS put me down for Rockets, exercise challenge1 round trip and the 5lb Challenge although I expect to fail that one :)

I don't know if anyone remembers a firework called a Jumping Jack? It was the most dangerous firework since they took the throwing instructions off the side of banger packets. It was a string of bangers tied together such that when each one went off it would catapult the firework in a random direction, I last remember seeing it 30 years ago just highlights the risk free attitude of the 70s.

Funny, I was just talking to OH this afternoon about how we were taken canoeing in school in the 70's - practicing roll overs (if that is the term?) in a very dirty and polluted stretch of the Leeds Liverpool canal. I am sure this would not be allowed now - but we didn't think anything of it then.

I know we are probably much safer now, but I do miss the days when we didn't constantly think the worst could happen.

Anyway - my second Bootcamp today. Hoping it doesn't take 3 days to recover from this one. I have to say it was quite cold and windy, but I really enjoy excercising in the open air. Felt so energetic afterwards went for a long walk along the beach after we had finished.

Not sure how to calculate all of this - so will just add 3 miles to my total. I am quite looking forward to next months time challenge - much easier to keep track of.

    Hey all.

Add 2.5 mile run to exercise challenge although I really struggled,, felt like I had no energy at all, ran a full 30 mins but felt a bit down. Body pump second session tomorrow, it took me 4-5 days to recover from the first one so must be doing me good :-)

Dieting a struggle this weekend, Chinese on Friday, kept my total cals to 454 for the day until then so shouldn't have blown it to much, Sat ate in budget but included my exercise cals, today broke a few of my own rules so not certain about anything, just feel that I am not in the right place mentally with eating at the moment.
