well set up the wii fit today trying out different stuff ,weight different to work scales 3+ however not worried expected it to be different .anyone on here using this as their main exercise and any tips
Just FYI, I'm doing:
30 minutes step (was 60 before I started the shred)
30 minutes free jogging
30 minutes cardio boxing
30 day shred
If I'm short of time I skip the step and boxing, but keep the shred and jogging which I find toughest. When I first started I did 30 minutes from the "routines" bit of wii fit plus.
If you want to weigh yourself every day fine, but I suggest not really paying attention to daily fluctuations and looking at longer term (i.e. weekly). Weigh yourself naked then with your workout gear so you know how much to account for.
Hope something in there is helpful and not just waffle!
P.S. I realised mid-week that I passed my first stone last Wed :jDo you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

1lb loss this week. Certainly slowing down as I near target!0

Occy - maintenance is the BIG problem for me. I am the classic yo-you dieter! I find it very hard to stay at a stable weight.
I have been reading The Food Doctor book, and he advocates a 80/20 approach to eating, healthy foods 80% of the time, 20% of foods as treats. My treat is organic dark chocolate and strong brewed coffee.
Not really interested in bread any more or potatoes and my sweet tooth is gone too.
I eat nuts instead of crisps/biscuits when I fancy a "crunch".
But I still think of food a lot, which I don't think is a healthy attitude!0 -
Does anyone have any suggestions for the challenges for next month?

As it's Thanksgiving in America next month the challenge for next month will be to exercise for the flight time to Washington DC from Heathrow (7 hours) to join the president for his lunch. If you wish to exercise for longer than 7 hours next month let me know how long you want your challenge to be. If you just want to log times and see how far you get you can do that too. To take part in this challenge please post below.
Here's the final chart for the N v S challenge:

I can't not be a Catherine wheel, that's my name!
I'll stick my neck out Fred and say, put me down for a return trip - 14 hours - Zumba, walking and a good old mosh at the Carter USM gig should cover that!If it doesn't move, eBay it until it does
