Happy Birthday WoT!!! :beer::j:j:j:beer:
Franby - Have you considered a cross trainer? They are kind of half way between a treadmill and a bike, and you can get them quite cheaply on ebay. I used to love my cross trainer but got rid of it as I just don't have the room for one.
Well I have chained myself to the bike and am not letting myself off until I have done an hour's workout (I'm working off a Big Mac meal). Up to 19 mins so far...
Will be back later/tomorrow to update my distance.0 -
Happy Birthday WoT!
I have now been struck down with the lurgy. Sore throat, stuffy nose, headache, so going to make chicken soup in my slow cooker!

Woooohhhhhh! I've lost about 2 and a half lbs! Counting it as a 3 lb loss though as that's what it says on the Wii... and I like to work in whole numbers as I get confused otherwise, lol.
Congratulations to everyone else who loses this week! :beer:0 -

Morning
Walked to town and back (another 2km - 25m now I think) to find out I have an STS to report this week.
Anyway, no self-pity as I'm in this for the long haul now (though obviously it's not fair after all my efforts :mad: I expect all my fat is turning into muscle).
Thanks for the suggestions re exercise equipment - I'll keep a look out for treadmills and if nothing turns up I'll probably get a bike for Xmas. DD2 is quite keen and she would like a Wi-Fit so I'll have a look at those as well.
Well done everybody for this week.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
