It's my birthday today and I lost 4.6lbs :j
Pretty good way to start the day!0 -
rain, rain go away...
The rain here is unbelievable, I'm seeing roads flooded that I've never seen flooded before. Usually at this time I would go out for a 2 mile walk with the dog, but today it ain't happening. I just did a mile on the treadmill but I found it so boring I couldn't bring myself to do any more.:o

Another 2 km today, 1 walked, 1 swam (23km).
When I'm swimming I can see the people on the treadmills and today I quite fancied having a go so will look into that. It would be a quicker way of racking up the kms than swimming I think!
I was considering getting either an exercise bike or treadmill for Xmas. I don't think my budget will stretch to a motorised treadmill and I haven't read many good reviews of manual ones so I'll have a look for a good, compact and reasonably cheap bike. Any recommendations welcome!
Couple of crispbreads with spready cheese last night which I shouldn't have had but not too bad otherwise.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
Including this week's weigh in I have now lost 5 stone 7.2lbs - hopefully by my next birthday I will be busy maintaining my target weight:j0 -
Franby have you looked on gumtree for maybe a second hand motorised one? I got a second hand motorised one for my birthday and I love it, means I have no excuse to go for a run and I can wear what I like;)
It takes me about 15 mins to do 2km.
Tomorrow I was going to go swimming while DD2 is having her swimming lesson and DD1 is practising, but DD1 reluctanly said 'ok then I suppose we could just pretend we dont know each other' She's only 9, what is she going to be like when she's 15!:eek:LBM 04/10:j
