Well ds1 likes the carpet anyway so that's good,

Floor has been cleaned of plaster and skirting boards have been wiped clean and have started to be glossed white :) surprising how yellow the gloss had gone :) hoping the plaster has dried by tomorrow so that the walls can be painted.

Well, I suppose I'm still a bit delicate, and actually, he's very nice... so....

I'll see him again I think.. no rush is there :-D

No rush what so ever. Understand the delicate but I wonder what Souk might advise? Just enjoy it and see where it takes you. You deserve to have fun

TMIF up a tree ........................ just kidding hon, I hope you had a lovely time and that the next date is even better.

Well Mum now has 5 larder units fitted into a recess - well ff in one, boiler in one and oven in one but all tucked away now.

3 x 3 drawer units (what pain they were) - and a corner unit that needed a PHD (or large bottle of beer) to decipher the instructions:rotfl: Base units were easy to make though.

The carpenter is over today to fit the worktops and cut holes for sink and hob - I'm not yet brave enough to attempt worktop joints :o

Took DS2 home last night as he was being a "grumpy pants" - by the time I had got him the 8 miles home he was "feeling poorly" and today he has got a full blown cold - cough and blocked nose, poor wee soul.

So today will be a "taking care of my favourite things day" - with a moderate pile or ironing, the weekly menu plan and a bit of thinking thrown in for good measure.

Was hoping this thread would limp on till the 1st of Dec for a brave new start - but I guess we need to set up a new one soon.

What did we decide for a new name and goal?

    Morning all,

You probably all know but in case anyone doesn't - there's a free listing weekend on Ebay today.

I must list some stuff, I have so much to sell and desperately need the funds!

A PhD usually doesn't help with deciphering instructions - it can, however, lead you end up with something entirely different. Like walk pantry istead of 3 x 3 drawer unit.

As to name, I would rather have Memorygirls' Matrix Re-wired
