The Matrix - Re-Evolution!!

So here we are again – setting off on a new thread as we have exhausted the post count on our previous thread “The Memorygirl’s The Matrix Re-lnspired” – but as you can see we are still keeping up with our Matrix inspired theme.

Quick catch up to help you get up to speed with some of the chat occurring:

When we get stuck – we revert to doing stuff in "15 minute chunks” – because we believe that we can do anything for 15 minutes.

Loads of us have read “The Secret” and we are taking baby steps towards being more positive thinkers and having better expectations that the universe will provide for us what we “need” if not what we “want”.

We are all a work in progress.

We also talk a lot about “Frogs” – that’s from a book by Brian Tracey called “Eat That Frog” and its about doing the scariest thing on your to-do list first thing in the day to get it over and done with.

We have a private forum (called The Matrix) which was set up to keep all the chat about our businesses, start-ups and mentoring from a group of Personal Development “Guru’s” and otherwise off this forum so as not to breach its rules. This is a secure, invisible to the internet, forum so anything we say or explore on there is confidential.

So what’s going to be our challenge on this thread? ............. well lots of us have had a pretty rough time financially in the past and that’s where we start – but we are more about bringing abundance into our lives in every way that focusing on how “poor” we are. We like to remind people “we are skint, notbroke!!” Skint is temporary, broke is permanent.

We also love a challenge – not always finance related, but often something that helps us along the journey, So August has been nominated our “de-clutter” month and September our Debt Detox month. So if you want to play, jump on in.

Here’s to a positive and supportive DFW journey with the “Matrix Re-Evolution” The title refers the fact that we can choose to evolve ourselves and move forward at any time.

So pour yourself a cuppa, pull up a chair and join in – although be warned................

WE CAN STILL REALLY TALK !!!!!

Good morning.

I'm absolutely shattered. Always am after a long 2 day event, but it was lovely meeting people.

I'm having now to clean the house so it's tidy for Hope the dog rescue to visit, the boys have been sorting their rooms out last night and this morning as well. I now have a bucket load of washing

So list so far

DW empties and reloaded
WM on with first load
kitchen worktops cleaned, sink and bowl cleaned.
Sandwiches made for boys lunch by DS1 (they are going on a mentoring course with Barnado's today)

Just having a sit down with a coffee before I do a bit more as my legs are still sore today. I think it will be 15 min bursts.

In need of a new start here - money's gone to pot, exercise/eating has gone to pot, work is busy, and everything is rather overwhelming at the minute!

Morning all, in readiness for the new month, I looked round my house over the weekend and have spied loads of stuff I can declutter - amazing to think I have got rid of a lot already, but there is still so much to do :eek:

Happy August and my thoughts to those who are having a tough time of it at the moment

I have my first proper pub gig (with singer and guitarist) on Wednesday night so positive vibes from about 7pm would be great!

The house is a complete and utter tip as I have had a musically busy weekend, but is going to have to stay that way until a big blitz on Thursday night as I have family coming over on Sunday for a barbie for my mum and dad's 30th :eek::eek: wedding anniversary. With 2 kids and 3 dogs coming to the party (along with a few adults!), it will be trashed by the end of the do so best it starts from a good place I think :rotfl:
