Hooray to new threads, new months and new challenges. I am in again for the foreseeable. Will head over to the other side in a bit but I really must get going soon.

    Lovely new thread :D

Can you please send someone round to do the washing up for me?! I hate doing it when I'm at OH's flat as the sink is in the darkest corner of the room and it's really depressing not looking out of a window while washing up...

Oh and I'm still waiting to join the other side :)

Hello Matrix, I've been on a lovely holiday and have come back full of excitement at the thought of decluttering in August, especially after spending a week in a gorgeous, calm, uncluttered holiday cottage....and coming back to a house that was slightly, very slightly, tidier than I remembered it, but omg how much "stuff" do I have?

I really must email MrF and ask him for a complete idiot's guide to getting back onto the Matrix - or if anyone can PM me, I'd be eternally grateful. I've apparently got the passwords but haven't been able to get on there in months, and would love to be a more active gal.

(((FANTASIA))) so sorry to read of your troubles. Others have been far more eloquent than I ever could be, but as I learned when my exOH walked out on me and our tiny baby, you get through life minute by minute for a good while. Cry your heart out, accept all offers of help and know that you are FANTASTIC xxx
  • Hi all!

I was a big old lurker on the old thread, but I think it's time to come out of lurkdom and join in fully! The decluttering challenge is very appropriate this month because we have to downsize the contents of our house to fit our new baby in who is due to make an entrance within the next 10 weeks or so!

I most certainly do - have been here since inception and benefitted greatly. I don't post so much now but it helps me to keep myself in check with my own personal life challenges :D

Hi, I was a lurker on the old thread, and would love to join this one.

I also need to declutter in a big way as within the next 18 months we will need to move into a bungalow.
So would love to join the August Declutter to get me started.
    Thank you Dee

My personal challenge for the day - what can I actually do! Have managed to clean the kitchen, floor badly needed sweeping but knew I wouldn't be able to sweep the bits into dustpan. Hoover it:jHow do I get cord out of hoover? Put it on a chair. Success!
Bit of a rest now and then I'll try to work out how to get the washing out and onto the line.
