Lovely new thread for the new month. Today's challenge completed and the bathroom is also being ripped out as we speak (well they're draining the system, but it sounds as if they haven't disconnected the water tanks from the rising main so hopefully they'll work that out soon... Good thing I'm not on a water meter!).

My mother is cleaning the silver (sounds grand... Two picture frames and a small jug :)), and I need to find something to keep me occupied while lounging on the sofa (where is Sunflower's CV when I need it!). OH is on his way over which is nice. And hopefully the gardener/handyman will turn up too so the garden work can be started.

Happy new thread! Hmm I could definitely do with a bit of de-cluttering.. not least on my desk at work! August is start of a new budget/ challenge for me too.. exciting stuff!

It's not exciting, it's stressful. Mess... Chaos... People not doing exactly what I want... Didn't take before photos either :p

Just trying to get into my eBay account to order my shower caddy now I've mad up my mind! Hope the cabinet arrives soon too...
  • Tradespeople are a law unto themselves - hence why I like to not be there when they are doing things. You can't controll everything Ms Bee!

My 'Bob the Builder' is coming on Wednesday to put the things I have picked into his plan and do me a final price. I am hoping for <£3k really.... we'll see.

I might ask him if he can sort out my walls too - if I ever suggest I am going to decorate again, can someone remind me that I am never doing it again and will be paying someone!

Seriously cross now... Sorted out my eBay userID, changed my password successfully and the new password doesn't work. I had this with my BT account too. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but it seems that at the moment if I change a password it locks me out :(

Oh, and TMIF, I don't know these guys, so there is no way I'm leaving them in the house unsupervised. My electrician works here when I'm out, but if you're going to leave them here alone you need to trust them.

Been for my first couch to 5k run/walk session and am now officially broken but proud too. Was not too bad but my face did do the purple near-death look which is not my most attractive feature tbh.

3 things to do today - paint clay with kids, declutter ds's clothes and work on class assessment file as well as the usual cleaning around dullness.

Am not on the 'other side' is it possible to get on it or for the challenges to be popped on here as well?
