And speaking of decluttering, there's a major item I've realised can go - my carpet sweeper! Its a very old fashioned, heavy type, and there's only one room it can be used in now anyway, and I just don't need it any more! Bye bye sweeper. You were lovely in your day.

    Nice shiny new thread.
Massive hugs for Fantasia- do not belive anything said to you in anger. Can't really add anything to the advice all ready given but thinkingof you.
As I caught up from the weekend on the old thread I had tears rolling down my face - YOU LOT ARE AMAZING and I feel so much this is what the Matrix is about. Well Done everyone.

My excitment at feeling better on Friday was sadly short lived I am not sure wether it's the neuralgia or the medication which has affected my balance. My last post was I was off for a shower - I did that and our shower is over the bath. Had just got the conditoner on my hair and was thinking Bliss - the next thing I was on the floor(outside the bath), wrapped in shower curtain and rail and nicely flooding the bathroom. I haven't been able to move all weekend and am now staring my 2nd week off sick. Back at Doctors tonight.
I have easily found some positives in this episode:
    1) We need an additional bannister for OH so am going to get on to housing association :eek:today.
2)my garden is lovely and so is nature. I spend hours working in it but not appreciating it. New rule is to spend at least 15 minutes in future just sitting.

    Looking forward to de-cluttering month.

  • Well, I piled chemicals on my wall yesterday, I waited the required time, I painted, and it still looks patchy, flaky, pretty rubbish really.

Time to call in the professional (aka Dad!).

  • Morning matrix... thanks for the new thread MG - and for the task on the other side... I am going to attempt it at lunchtime.

(((((Fantasia))))) - I am still thinking about you, and sending all my positive vibes to you.

Today is the first day back in the office after a week away, and it is the first day of my work for the year end. Doing lots of bits and pieces at the moment, but some serious housekeeping is going to need to be done in the next few days, so I might not be around for a while this week. I promise to keep popping in though and saying Hello now and again!

    Have a great one people.

And YES souk, hair and nails is very much a decluttering thing.....it is sorting out what is important to you and what needs to be kept as part of your life.

    That's how I apply it, anyway :D
