  • Ooh, it appears to all systems go on here today.

Maybe I should take note and get myself off the laptop and finish all of my little projects before I go back to work next week.

I think I will update my diary first because I have just added a little bit PAD to clearing the debt and yet again (due to a minor temporary hiccup) I have managed to crack the 50% debt paid mark. Yippee!!!!

Now I have just got to pick up the ebay sales and maybe diversify my range of items to get back on track. I may have to ask some advice on t'other side sometime soon!

Keep smiling all and if you are heading out today, wrap up nice and warm

£200 paid off the mortgage - Yay!!!!! May there be many more. The only thing that would have been more satisfying would have been to have paid it in pound coins - but that day is coming.

Got home to a hand delivered letter(well folded piece of paper) - from the Bailiff that I sent off from my doorstep a few weeks ago who was looking or the previous owner......................... its a walking possession order :rotfl::rotfl:

No seriously, bear with me - he has levied on stuff he can see through my windows :rotfl::rotfl:

Not unless he can levitate he hasn't - and the list bears no relation to my possessions anyway.

The nicest thing I can say is "Chancer" - don't worry I will not be letting him in and there is nothing they can do anyway.

    Eeeep!!!!

Just realised it's Thursday ........... which means at 10 am tomorrow I have a visit from the Bank Guy here.

............... and you've guessed it - the place is a tip because of my building work.

Time to grab my timer and start channelling Flylady - I'm thinking get the downstairs neatened and cleaned - floors washed when boys in bed tonight then up pronto in the morning to pop a banana loaf in the oven.

That way I can sit him in the kitchen with pot of tea and a slice and he needn't go any further - OK do the bathroom too just in case.

Then close the rest of the doors:rotfl:

The toddler is brilliant at housework - at least when he is corralled in the bath and we are runing around like loopie loos tidying up after him.

    Recycling all out in bins
Box of glass in car to go to recycling centre
    Kitchen bin out
    Food bin out
All washing up done, dried and put away
    Kitchen worktops stardropped
Floor swept and had a quick wash (will do it with bleach later)
    Bathroom cleaned incl floor
    New towels arranged in there
All ironing carried upstairs to ironing basket
WM on with load of coloureds to get hung out in the morning
Half the timber carried up to the second floor

    COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then school run

At least I remembered today and not in the morning LOL

  • I think I need to channel you MG; Stuff Flylady!! My house is an absolute tip and it has got to the point where it is so bad, I don't know where to start! I have Counselling tonight, which means I get home late, but after dinner I am going to try and get my bahookie moving and get some cleaning and tidying done. I guess I just need to start somewhere. Anywhere is better than nowhere.

Had a challenging day at work. I am not sure if it is me feeling hyper sensitive, or whether I need to be on the lookout for another landmine from my boss and my bosses boss. I am thinking it is probably a bit of both. Sigh. I need the Christmas holidays to start now.

    Hello everyone.

I'm feeling pleased with myself today because I've had a good day and been quite productive. I've done some cleaning in the kitchen (long overdue) and put some washing on, baked some caramel shortbread, walked to Tesco (a shade under a mile each way) for some frugal shopping (£4.40, since you asked) and took DS to the SureStart centre for a play session. I had hoped to do my Christmas pudding today too, but I'm not sure I'll get that done since I need the pressure cooker for cauliflower shortly. I stopped myself buying reduced to clear crumpets and thought I'd have a look at making some muffins instead. I'm pretty sure I've got most of the ingredients already.

Will probably be next to useless tomorrow though!

Bad day at the office today - meetings all day and lets just say they weren't the most positive, are going to involve heaps more work and boss is now an extremely grumpy bear. Got to worry because he is already stressy and taking time off as and when and I have a nasty feeling that when the sh*t does hit the fan he might do a disappearing act (or alternatively just drop us further in it) Is not going to be fun for the next few months - but this weekend I am off to Harrogate and it can all bog off till after then.:p
