  • Of course klfairy, welcome aboard!

MG, great progress by the sound of it - and crumpets too! Well done! (you, not the crumpets!)

My working week usually finishes on a Wednesday evening, but I need to do something urgent which requires me to be in the office and can't wait. So that's where I'll be tomorrow.

    Enjoy your evening everyone.
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

  • Hi ladies, I survived the training and the solicitors team - was useful food for thought and the chat wasn't bad! Seriously though I understand what's needed re competency process, so now need to start sorting some examples and looking for more. There is no desperate rush, and as my life outside the paid job is a trifle busy just now am putting this as a to do over my Christmas break. But I suspect I will need some constructive criticsm - my last CV needed was erm around 30 years ago

Now onto a couple of the busyness items - have two discreet things I wish to achieve this evening. And managed to sneak another in earlier via the smartphone, wonderful thing that it is. Treat if I get both things done will be a soak with a book, bliss.

My master project list is beginning to look more doable :j

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Bitsy, - I'm actually much better today its just sore to the touch, If the Thai massage lady in the market hadn't helped me yesterday I would still be in agony, but as the day is getting on I'm much better.

Well DS1's bedroom is empty, carpet up, dh's dad will be up at 8 in the morning to plaster the room, then we need to buy a carpet as the floorboards are no good to be sanded, so hopefully Sat the room should be dry to paint and build his new furniture,

Thanks for the linkie Marru - that is seriously impressive.

Muffins in the freezer otherwise I would be tempted to have a wee "scooby snack" - but they can be toasted from frozen so the kids can have them when they want a quick warming snack.

Mrs B has given me a recipe for a lentil and walnut loaf (actually from the guy who runs their local coffee shop) - so who would like to join me in road testing one of those tomorrow? Ideal store cupboard dish as I have green lentils and walnuts in my "Armageddon Cupboard".

Moam - glad it went well. And if you need a challenge, feel free to come and organise me.

    Good luck on Friday FW.

Claire - REST please. It may be boring, but you'll wear yourself out.

Ooh I adore muffins. Actually I adore all toasted bread products. Presumably they work out cheaper to make yourself?
