Why is there not a tumbleweed smiley when one is needed..............

Sorry for anyone who is feeling they have got lost either by circumstance, situations or age. Think we have all felt that way at times, which is one of the reasons I work and can't be a stay at home mum, 30 children belonging to someone else are so much easier than my 2!

Got to plan what I'm going to do on strike day next week.

Er... was thinking more of either catching up with schoolwork so I don't have so much to do over Christmas, or Christmas shopping, or painting the back room, or having my hair done or, or, or so many choices and only one day!

Apparently the 5 weeks after the equinox is when things start getting hard. Recommendations seem to be 5HTP to help with serotonin levels and daylight bulbs (biobulbs or similar) to help. Also Epsom salt baths and lots of onions/garlic/leeks.

Hospital appointment was long and boring. They're doing a blood test to check for pregnancy as it's too early for a wee test to work apparently. So I'll find out tomorrow or Wednesday for definite. If everything goes ahead, I'll be having a mirena as that's the consultant's preferred option. And I'll be going back in at least a couple more times so they can keep an eye on things.

I also have to take a week off rather than 48hrs as this is the third procedure in 6 months. I'll be VERY bored...

I do not want to leave the Matrix in a flounce but it is certainly the right time for me to take a back seat when throwaway comments push me over the edge. I will keep reading along so that I don't lose touch. Thankyou once again, Thriftyxxx

Darling Thrifty, take a break if you wish but please stay around. I have not been active so much here either lately but I still feel part of this thing we started.

When the going gets really tough we need loads of support; I have noticed that this board gave me more of that than my 'real' life friend. Frankly you are all real - some of you I met others I hope to meet in the future.

We are an emanation of the power of women and we will stay together; we will not simply survive, we will thrive through all this mess that has been and that will be.
