Of course you're right Marru. B*gger them eh! I've done my bit...
Except of course it makes the whole of the next 49 weeks a nightmare if it's wrong, and we all know who will have to sort it out!
They won't change my login, or give me a temporary one - so I'm going to their office to type it in myself. They have a spare computer and someone will log in to the system for me... at least it will be done by 3 then!
Oooo VAT codes - never checked those. Ho well0 -
Aaaargh my ipod has died and is sitting here in recovery mode (says the apple support man) and he can for £25 help me or I can for free help myself from their website - except their website is going so slow would be quicker to re-invent the ipod while waiting. I am going to need a lot of patience today.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Today's challenge was :
Did you know that in Feng Shui, the under bed area of your home refers to your emotional and mental state?
Little wonder then that when our bedrooms are in chaos and drifts of clutter start accumulating under our beds we begin to suffer bad dreams, we become anxious, we suffer bouts of insomnia, we wake early feeling unrested and out of sorts.
So your challenge for today - is NOT you will be glad to hear t de-clutter your entire bedroom, but it is to get on down and pull out everything that is under your bed (or if you share, everything under your side of the bed)
So pull everything out and dump it on your bed - ad here is where the fun begins and you get to play Detective with your own life.
Look - I mean really look at what you have pulled out ad how does that really reflect where you are in your life at the moment.
What books did you pull out? How do they reflect your mental or emotional state right now?
Horror Books - what is frightening you?
Debt Books - why not replace with books on Abundance
A book on Bad Backs - seriously I had this AND I had a back that wouldn't get better
Old snack wrappers (I blame the kids ) - what's eating you?
Accounts ledger from a Credit Crunched business - talk about bringing yourself down. Incidentally sine I removed this to a filing cabinet in the attic I have received three offers of work in three days.
Now undoubtedly the clearing away of the stuff under your bed shifts some energy - but I think that the honest reflection of the "stuff" you pull out has the biggest "Pay-off".
De-cluttering your external environment whilst recognising what needs to be de-cluttered in your internal environment - boy that's what I call a double whammy of a challenge.
Well its your challenge .............. do you want to accept it?

:T:T This ties in with something I've been thinking about with frogs and pesky dragons. The fear is in facing up to them. The longer they lurk around, the more scary they become.
Then, when you look them in the eye and say "That's it. I'm dealing with you NOW!", they shrink and are done (mainly) easily. This IMHO, opens us up to opportunities that we could not even acknowledge while the wee beasty was getting in the way.
I'll get my coat. I've only had one glass of wine so far, honest.:A

OMG, the space under my bed is jam-packed, you couldn't get a Rizzla paper under there!! I have old clothes that I'm working towards getting into again, financial paperwork (twas a good place for them as I discovered just after I moved them to that place and them promptly had a burst water pipe in the loft which completely drenched the original place!!), bedding, photo albums etc etc. It's a treasure trove of tut.........but all stuff that I think I need......
Haven't tackled the mugs yet either. I don't drink tea or coffee but when my parents come round, they drink lots of tea and coffee and insist on a fresh mug each time! But, I'm sure I can get rid of some.....0 -
Hi Matrix
Back from a lovely holiday in The Netherlands. Feel a bit overwhelmed now I am home. How can we survive quite happily for a week with so little and return to a house full of so much. I think I shall definitely need to join in with the decluttering but need to get my head around where to start and with what. Actually I think it will be under the bed as it is dusty (all stuff in boxes though so protected) and I want to hoover every corner of upstairs checking for moths on the bits which are carpeted.
I'm back to thinking we have a moth problem so that is going to have to be dealt with too and the finances need a good look at and the garden needs some attention
Greenbee, so glad that the news was not bad at the hospital
Going to unpack the last of the holiday stuff and load the washer with it's second wash (towels and swimmers spinning already) and then potter about for a bit thinking. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
