"I really wanted to get across that people need to go out and communicate with an enthusiasm that gets people to collaborate with them and to go out and tell everyone how great it all is in their turn..."
Greenbee - how about inspire/inspiration?
GQIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

You know, as I wrote this last night it occurred to me that it might be what I was looking for! Thanks for confirming. First frog of the day done ... I will log on after breakfast and get my presentations sorted out. Then I have a day of researching copyright-free cake pictures and/or working out which ones I need to recreate myself over the weekend...
Tea and cake here in Monday0 -
I like enthuse
OH rather boringly came up with 'educate' which kind of misses out on the inspirational element.
I also wanted to suggest (but could possibly be accused of winding up the editor) assimilate, bewitch, brainwash, transform, transfigure, revolutionise... Just to make the point that the preferred option of 'advocate' wasn't quite what I was aiming for0 -

Still its nice to know we are in a better financial position that the banks - I may have some debt, but its a lot less than 3.3 bn

Ah! The cart horse! We don't have them around here.
My contrary brain has been composing a DFW diary for the chairman of the black horse. I always wanted to write fantasy. :cool:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Morning Matrix. *Yawn*
If anyone wants me, I'll be in the corner, asleep. I feel dreadful this morning... and soooooo tired, it isn't funny. Just have to make it to 4pm and then I can flake out for the weekend.
Have a good one Matrix. See ya Monday. *Yawn*.... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Inspire............. doh, that seemed too straightforward last night I was too busy thinking of transitive and intransitive verbs :rotfl::rotfl:
I have to promote a venue to people who want to use it to Inspire, Involve and Inform people so I think that I have a mental block with inspire.
I have also realised lately that my spelling (or rather editing of my touch typing) is going down hill rapidly. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I have no internet at home for 7 days! :O
I've had an intermittent connection fault which has been annoying me for several days... so I bit the bullet and called BT!
After battling communication issues, she ran a line test - this showed a fault at the exchange. She said it would take a week(!!!!!) to fix. Then she warned me there was a 50/50 chance I wouldn't be able to reconnect to my internet until it was mended - and guess which half my connection has ended up in. Grr!0 -

If it's their fault and you need the Internet I would be asking them to temporarily provide you with a dongle? Might be worth a try.0
