Well bank statements are in - good news and bad news.

Good news - I have 1.1% of the mortgage offset which is equivalent to 6.25 debt payments so not quite debt free .......................... but I can smell it from here:j

My income goes down another £40 per week in November so I need to put my head down and throw all I can at this to free up some pennies for then.

Off out for the day with the boys - swimming, Chinese Buffet lunch and trip around Discovery (all with money off somehow)

See you at the end of Birthday Day

    MG
    happy birthday to DS1

Hope you all have a lovely day.

You're income isn't necessarily going down by £40 per week in November... You just need to make sure that by november you have at least £40 more coming in from another source. It's about increasing your wealth remember, not cutting back.

Get DS1 over on the other side to discuss his activity project :D

That's what the chunk of work yesterday was all about - I will write it up and post it on the Matrix soon because I am going to need some serious bahookie bashing to get it off and rolling.

    In the meantime PAAAAARRRRRRTTTTTYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

Got 25kg of chapatti flour today - does anyone know if it works to make pittas and ordinary bread? I'm pretty sure its just wholemeal bread with the bran sifted out - so should work to make nice bread I think.

Of course I will be making chapattis - but 25kg makes about a million of them :rotfl:

MG I've been using my chappatti flour for most of my baking, normal bread/pizza dough, some biscuits, I've even tried a few cakes with it, they were slightly heavier than normal but still tasted good! Also if you need a lighter flour you could try sifting some of the bits out? I did, and just stuck the bits in with my next lot of bread.

Mind you I only had a 10kg bag, where on earth are you storing 25kg!?!?

Oh and one more thing, I read that if you put flour in the freezer for 24 hours it kills any flour weevil eggs that might be in it so I stuck my whole sack in the freezer before I decanted mine into smaller containers. No bugs so far so seems to have worked.

Any updates on how we can sign up to the other side? It's too much for me waiting until night for the new challenges :rotfl:

Oh and a very Happy Birthday to DS1! Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Crickett how did the counselling session go? Have been thinking of you and what you're going through, it brings back so many memories for me. If you ever want to chat by PM, or need to ask any questions regarding IVF, then please feel free to contact me.

    Have a lovely Friday all.

Thanks Jenid... it was a fruitful counselling session... but man, it was tiring! Add to that, I have not really slept properly in over a week... and I am shattered. Just about holding it together at the moment.

Why give me a deadline, and then when I submit on the deadline they tell me they're too busy!

I have spent hours doing my journals for year end (deadline 3pm!) I sent them over an hour ago, and have been told they don't have time to input them :|

We're not allowed to input our own journals, apparently it's not cost effective, so they've employed a data entry team -- who are "rammed"! They won't change my agresso privileges so I can type it in my self, so... erm... what to do?

    Good 'ere innit!

Marru, how exciting. Who is your guru? I used to love watching Caeser Milan but didnt know enough about him to know if he was as good as he seemed in the half hour show which had been heavily edited.

Marru - Wonderful news about the tele-seminar. You 'sound' so happy!! Now you need to tell us who he is! x

Thank you, I feel that everything is finally falling into place. This was just an opportunity not to be missed. I will tell more about it on the other side.

Ah! The cart horse! We don't have them around here.

TMIF: I think it was my fault that BT started that rule. Few years back I was working from home and didn't have a connection. No connection, no work, no money. So I gave BT real hell. :o Keep calm with the work, you have done what you have asked to do, what other people do after that is not your problem. In the end of the day it is just a job (that is what I keep saying to myself when AP messes up all the vat codes...)

Crickett - Be gentle to yourself. It will take long time to start getting energy back. Have a good rest and look after yourself.

MG - Happy birthday to DS1 and have all fabulous day :j

Robsmum - glad to hear that things are on the up. :)
