That'd be nice wouldn't it!
I was also told that if I called them again before the fault was mended the job would be cancelled and I wouldn't be allowed to contact them for a further 15 days.
I think I will email their Customer Services and see what they come up with0 -

OH rather boringly came up with 'educate' which kind of misses out on the inspirational element.
I know quite a few teachers who would argue against that - education to me means exactly that - to enthuse the students with the same passion that I have for my subject!;):DIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

With companies like BT (and other too big monstrosities, like banks)the customer might well be King - but in the UK, the monarchy is just a figurehead with no voice0 -

Sounds like we need a campaign to rehabilitate the word in the wider communityyou're right, education SHOULD be about inspiring and enthusing ...
And today's personal challenge is translating a colleague's presentation from American to English, while getting my work headset/laptop/microphone issue sorted... I'm trying to ignore the bathroom work and will assess it when it's finished. Better for my stress levels.0 -
Morning All,
Went back to the Doctor yesterday and can now return to work on Monday:jI also have an under active thyroid. Because of the problems with neuralgia they don't want ti treat that until the neuralgia has settled. But I have to have multi-vitamins and a CoQ10, eat little and often and lots of wholemeal, oats and fruit and veg. Funnily enough, I knew my diet had got a bit lax on this front but C>B>A to rectify it. Now had the proverbial kick I am taking myself of to town later and will stock up.
Positive outcomes all round really. Had long chat with boss lady yesterday and I have only to do what I feel up to:jseems to have changed our relationship for the better also:j

Well bank statements are in - good news and bad news.
Good news - I have 1.1% of the mortgage offset which is equivalent to 6.25 debt payments so not quite debt free .......................... but I can smell it from here:j
My income goes down another £40 per week in November so I need to put my head down and throw all I can at this to free up some pennies for then.
Off out for the day with the boys - swimming, Chinese Buffet lunch and trip around Discovery (all with money off somehow)
See you at the end of Birthday Day
